This is the week of injuries...insanity

RG3 - Dislocated Ankle - Doc reports suggest 3 months, that's the season pretty much

AJ.Green - Turf Toe - This is generally Week to Week (Can last all season, but guys can also play)

D.Jackson - Sprained AC Joint - Normally miss 1 week. but anywhere from 0-6 games

J.Charles - Left field with ankle injury - questionable to return

K.Moreno - dislocated elbow - 4-6 Weeks

A.Hurns - Left field no word on injury

I swear there are injuries I am missing, but those are some big names, add the Rice & Peterson situations,

Hey Jono - any chance you could do a screen dump for how the match-ups are progressing?  (Sorry - can't access the ESPN Fantasy stuff from work).  Only if it's no bother though.

Well, Dwayne Bowe wasn't worth the punt this week. 5.5 points...

Going 2 from 2 now relies on the last minute from the GB game

Big numbers from Rodgers and Jordy Nelson have given me a small chance, need T.Y. Hilton to have a shocker and Sproles to have a big game + plenty of field goals for my kicker.

Yellow Fever Games

At this point this game actually looks close, but that is an illusion. This game has already been won by the Fairies, and it won't even be close. Waffles lost Charles to an injury, the Vikes D & Kicker did nothing, Toilolo was a let down, and Floyd didn;t get any ball as it all went to Fitzgerald. While the Fairies didn't have the greatest game losing Moreno & D.Jackson to injuries, but Manning, Morris & D.Thomas have pulled them home with Boldin & 49ers D to go.

A nice tight game here with 2 players each left, Tegal has Cutler and Forte looking to go up big, and then tomorrow night we'll see Maclin got for the Whale as they look to go to 1-1. Tegal had solid performances from Ball, Brown, Edelman, J.Thomas & Bengals D to get them to here. Hunter (& the whole Ten Offense) were disappointing, The Whale will be wondering qwhat Gerhart has been doing, while Murray went big for Dallas, Brees got a solid 15pts, Cards D, Andre 3000 & Mike Wallace dfid their jobs properly.

I think with 2 games left I'll go for a Whale Monday night Comeback, Tegal will get a 10-12pt lead tonight, and Maclin will pull it back tomorrow.

I actually feel sorru for the Hammers here, they are ahead, but getting a rough deal as they are likely about to get slammed as McCoy, Marshall and Wayne run riot for Swarlos to finish it off here. With Foster & Ingram rushing for a combined 200+ yards it was always going to be tough, but the Hammer put up a good performance here especially as Martin was out, with Romo disappointing, but everyone else getting close to the needed numbers, Dan Bailey a standout here as he clearly leads the way in scoring.

The Usos can probably get close with Luck, Gore & Rtz to go, but I think this 40pt gap is just one step to far when the Billikids still have Nick Foles. We saw an injury to AJ Green this week which hurt the Billikids, but Asiata, Graham and the Surprising Bills D made upf or that, especially when you consider that they outscored the Seahawks D by 22pts after the Hawks went down to the Chargers, only Sanders really helped the Usos and they will need bug games to get home from here.

This is going to be remembered as the game of the week, both teams should easily crack 100pts, and with some massive scores over the field it could end up close. The Troopeers will be looking for a HUGE Monday Night Comeback, with Sproles & Vinatieri to come, but withTY Hilton still lined up for griever it could be a challenge.

A 30.5 for Nelson, and a 27pter for Rodgers is a huge start for the Troopers, but the bottom half of the scoreboard looks dire with single figures for Harvin, Bowe, Gronk and a negative for Fins D. Griever will be delighted with their starts as Bernard got 24.5pts, Bryant 21 & Cobb 19.5 in what is going to be a huge score.

I concur with my previous statement, in my different leagues in the past week I have lost:

A.Peterson

MJD

R.Mathews x2

A.Jeffery (Though he did play I benched him)

J.Reed x2

J.Charles x2

RG3

T.Austin

C.Palmer

D.Jackson

AJ.Green

Sometimes this game really gets me down...I think the most trouble I have is the league with Charles & Mathews, and the other one with AP & Mathews, in those I desperately need RBs for next week now.

I was out last night so didn't get to see very much live action, but this week has really annoyed me.  My lack of luck (skill) has been brutally exposed with me replacing Phil Rivers (dance) with Tony Roma's Ribhouse. Seemed a logical decision with the Chargers up against the great secondary of the defending champions, but obviously Rivers scores 24 points throwing for 284 yards and 3 TDs, to Romo's 11. Also, bloody Doug Martin gets ruled out when I have no internet connection and my benched RBs do well (Zac Stacey with 11 points, Jonathan Stewart with 11.5, and Jonathan Dwyer with 9.5).  Not sure which one I would have actually chosen (probably would have been Stewart as Stacey was mince last week against the Vikings) but any of them would have had me significantly more points than 0.

I now need Reggie Wayne and LeSean McCoy to both get thrown out of the game for taking a dump on the pitch to stop me from going 0-2.

yeah, it always annoyed when I was in a league of 30 people and they all had Lampard (especially as I refused to select him).  We have 8 people in our league, 2 drafts over Skype (at the start of the season to pick the original squad, and at the end of the Jan transfer window to play the wildcard) and then 1 transfer each month (in the same sort of thing as the waiver, where the bottom player gets first transfer, through to the current leader)

NFL Injuries etc Update

Ryan Mathews - MCL Sprain - Out 4-5 Weeks

Adrian Peterson - Club have reinstated him for now, have said they will allow due process then deal with it (aka if found guilty he's in trouble, if not he did nothing wrong)

Tavon Austin - Sprained MCL - Out 2 weeks

Jamaal Charles - High Ankle Sprain - May miss time (MRI was clear)

RG3 - Dislocated Ankle - Not broken, no idea how long he will be out, but may have lost his job anyway.

DeSean Jackson - Sprained AC Joint - Not expected to miss time (Day to day)

Marcedes Lewis - High Ankle Sprain - Expected to miss 6-8 Weeks

Allen Hurns - Ankle Sprain - Day to Day

AJ. Green - Strained Ligament in Toe - Day to Day - Listed as Day to day, but expected back after the Week 4 Bye.

Mark Ingram - Broken Hand - Saints listed him to miss a month (Hate the different designations lol)

For anyone interested here is Peterson's statement on the Child Abuse charges

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000395297/art...

At least he appears to show some sort of remorse unlike Greg Hardy & Ray Rice in their respective cases....

Kirk Cousins (The back-up) is a better fit for the Offense the new Coaches run, so it makes sense that if he plays well he will keep the job. From reports today it sounds like RG3 could be out til Week 10, so at that point I guess it comes down to a few things

1) If they are out of Playoff contention - no point him coming back

2) If Cousins has done well, no point him coming back

3) If Cousins has done poorly, but they are still in playoff contention (How the hell does this happen? :P)

Talk now is he could be out for only 4-5 weeks.. Still Cousins stepped up and does seem to be a better fit. As a Redskins fan and in hindsight, those two 1st round drafts picks we gave up to get RG3 is coming back to bite us.

I agree, I think that was a terrible trade, though the Rams have stuffed themselves from that trade too, they haven't done what they needed to really either. I guess some good stuff, but they traded a pick to Bears that became Alshon Jeffery, the Cowboys which became Claiborne & the Falcons which became Des Trufant

So Jeffery & Trufant are now ranked in the Top 10 at their positions in the league. Here is the full details of the trade, there is still one pick left to be made, but a 7th round pick seems irrelevant.

What Rams Drafted

  2nd-overall pick (2014) => Greg Robinson (OT) - Currently second string

14th-overall pick (2012) => Michael Brockers (DT) - From Cowboys - An alright career so far

30th-overall pick (2013) => Alec Ogletree (LB) - From Falcons - Still playing for Rams

92nd-overall pick (2013) => Stedman Bailey (WR) - From Falcons - 17 catches 200yds, now SUSP

39th-overall pick (2012) => Janoris Jenkins (CB) - Had a very good rookie season

50th-overall pxik (2012) => Isaiah Pead (RB) - From Bears - 4th on depth chart?

150th-overall pick (2012) => Rokevious Watkins (G) - From Bears - Gone

160th-overall pick (2013) => Zac Stacy (RB) - From Texans - Starting RB

Other Drafted from this trade

2nd-overall pick (2012) => Traded to Redskins (RG3)

6th-overall pick (2012) => Traded to Cowboys (M.Claiborne)

22nd-overall pick (2013) => Traded to Falcons (D.Trufant)

45th-overall pick (2012) => Traded to Bears (Alshon Jeffery)

198th-overall pick (2013) => Traded to Texans (Chris Jones)

What Rams truly gave up to get the above

2015 - 7th Rd (Pats Pick)

2013 - 184th overall (Mychal Rivera TE)

2012 - 2nd overall (RG3)

The Rams haven't got anything incredible from the trade, but they did fill the gaps, but with a QB that keeps going down it didn't help, they also passed up some very nice pieces in their trading efforts...Of course overall they got better value from the trade.

yeah, feel Redskins have done worse out of the deal. RG3 is a good QB! But he is going to keep getting injured and they didn't build an O around his playing style which is more suited to Cousins.

Edit: just seen this poll on ESPN, 72% believe Skins should go with Counsins over RG3 http://espn.go.com/espn/fp/flashPollResultsState?sportIndex=sportsnation&pollId=4497231

Heard it's possible that AP may get indicted in another child abuse case for some more "whooping's".  Is it wrong for me to hope that he gets convicted or at least stood down - I don't have any depth at RB and really need Asiata to play.

What does the 'red zone' mean? Is it extra points if your player does something in those zones?

No it just means they are in scoring position. If a team doesn't get some points inside opposition 20 (field goal or touchdown) then they have done something wrong.

Weird, my player caught for 3 yards in the red zone and seemed to get more points for doing so than an opposing player when he caught for the same outside of a red zone. 11.5 points in this game now. Could go to the wire!

From what I understand the "2nd case" is from June 2014 and the Police/DA decided to not press charges, so don't expect him to be indicted on it. And not sure it changes the Vikes earlier statement given they said we'll await "Due Process"

Surely he should be considered innocent until proven guilty? Is disgusting what he has allegedly done, but punishing when someone is accused of something seems a bit off to me. (Rice did a deal admitting himself into help program to avoid conviction, process is complete, Greg Hardy has been found guilty, but has appealed)

Not saying I have proof either way on the Peterson charges, but I am not a fan of punishment before guilt is ascertained.
