The updates on that thread are fascinating reading. Got one guy arguing against Wood all day long, and others liking his record. Reminded me of some of the arguments we have had on this forum, and will have again soon, 5 days to go till A League kicks off

The Football League Show only shows coverage from sat games and so far most of Birmingham's games have been on Sundays.

Anyone know if the loan was extended. It officially ended after the Forest game and Hughton said he was working hard for an extension before he legally had to return to WBA. It would be good to see Birmingham get him for the season, at least then he'd have a chance at the golden boot.

Stewpud!
"New Zealand international striker Chris Wood - a man in red-hot form - will be staying with Blues until 5 January after his youth loan from West Bromwich Albion was extended.
Wood has scored no less than eight goals in eleven appearances for the club in his two months at St. Andrew's so far, including a brace in the 3-1 win at Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
An undisclosed fee has been paid to West Brom to land the 19-year-old's services until the New Year.
And the Kiwi hotshot is over-the-moon to be at the club for a longer period.
Wood told bcfc.com: "I'm very pleased the loan has been extended. I've settled in really well here and all of the lads - who are a great bunch - have really taken to me.
"We are beginning to gel as a team and as a squad and I think that's starting to show in our performances and results.
"I'm very pleased to have scored the goals that I have but it's only the start. Together we have to keep putting in the performances and picking up the results to move up the league."
Blues manager Chris Hughton added that he is delighted Wood is staying amongst the ranks.
He explained: "We are delighted the loan has been extended as it's one that has worked very well for the player and for the club. This has continued our good working relationship with West Brom.
"Hopefully Chris can continue in the same vein as he has done so far."
