Sydney score first but concede two in the second half to lose 1-2. Heward-Belle sent off in added time, so we got to see this
A-Leagues adventures in Asia (ACL & AFC Cup thread)
Sounds like Kosta had a shocker
2 games tonight, Victory first & then the Glory.
Victory lose 3-1 & Glory concede 2 late, to lose 1-2
Sydney lose 1-0. Loads of shots but no end product.
Sydney lose 1-0. Loads of shots but no end product.
Funny; that's what my ex-wife used to say to me.
Victory lose 0-2 with Crocombe in goal. Glory concede 2 very late goals (87th & 89th) to lose 2-0. Glory have really surprised me with how competitive they have been
Victory blow a 2 goal lead to draw 2-2 & Glory get a late penalty to draw 3-3 after leading 0-2 at one stage.
Howler by Acton at 00:57 for the Victory to concede the first
It really sharks me when highlights don't include the foul leading to the penalty.
Sydney win 0-4!!
Glory lose 0-1 & Victory win 2-1 and sneak into the Round of 16. Rojas with the first for the Victory.
Crocombe will be disappointed with that effort for Seoul's goal
Kosta benched as Sydney finish their ACL campaign with a 1-1 draw
Crocombe will be disappointed with that effort for Seoul's goal
That’s a beautifully taken goal by Kiwi Messi on what looked a bumpy pitch. Nice to see Crocombe as the starting keeper. Sounds like he made some key saves late on after his earlier bad judgement.
3 kiwis in that victory team, good to see
Victory are out after a 3-0 loss this morning. Crocombe with the start, sounds like he pulled off a few good saves for them again.
Ulsan of South Korea are AFC Champions with 2-1 over Persepolis (Iran) in the final.
2020 Club World Cup is in Feb next year (Qatar).
ACFC manage to beat Qatari side Al-Duhail in the first round, they could end up playing Ulsan in the 2nd round.

That is gonna throw a spanner in the works for the A-League draw.
Maybe they will centralise in Australia?
Roar would be Group F & City in Group J if they make it via play offs.
The Sky Blues will be pitted against Korean Champions Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors FC, Japanese runners up Gamba Osaka, and Singaporean powerhouse Tampines Rovers in their Group, with matches scheduled to take place from June 25 to July 11, 2021.
So when exactly is the A-League Grand Final gonna be, if Sydney has to be overseas on June 25th?
Let the Nixs take once place.
Some significant changes to the ACL announced.

3+1 rule to be replaced by either 4+2, 5+1 or 5+2.
And arguably biggest change, competition will change window. Instead of calendar year, it will change to autumn-spring. https://t.co/xZuevMfyK0

I thought Sky had picked up the AFC rights but doesn't appear so. So I can't seem an easy way to watch this.
1-2, 20 minutes to go.
2-2
