His name is Andrew Garbett. Pretty sure he ain't French
Thank moose head. Mike Green I mean Feverish, is this how you administer yellow fever. What's your name horse.
I'm just saying what a lot of people would like to say to people like you and Mike Green. What's your name champ?
Lol, trolling is all fun and games while it's anonymous....
not trolling, just sharing an opinion about how happy some are that Wharfies didn't get promoted, what's wrong with that?

Its not sporting though. Football is a sport. While i am v happy TT won, i also feel the pain of Wharfies. Maybe one day you will develop some empathy to your opponents. I hope so.
French I don't know you, my name is Liam. You still haven't made a single football related comment.
C'mon Liam (Liam who btw)) all of my comments are football related as Waterdide Karori is a football club and I have been commenting on them and there unfortunate shortcomings. They may not be the typical football discussion points that you are used to but football comments none the less. Forums should be a place where all people can say what they think without being abusive which I have not. Just because Yellow Fever is administered by Whatfies supporters should not mean people cant share there opinions on a certain club!!.
Here's one just for you..... Man City had a lot of possession in the 1st half vs Man Utd last night and converted that into goals.... Happy?
Dunbar. Happy but not the EPL thread ;)
Liam do you know how many teams in the Cap Prem are a clubs 2nd team ?
two off the top of my head ( now mar are relegated)
your obsession with Feverish is quite creepy to be honest.
2 channels...TVCapPrem & TVCentral
17 years are Karori still in Premier League...want to discuss football matters, here is something for you.... The way Karori approached the last game of the play off was rubbish, coach had no idea, even putting himself in was a huge mistake. TT had nothing mate, karori should have won it 4-0 with the quality players that you guys have..... ref was rubbish ?? yes they were rubbish but don't blame them for loosing a very very very easy chance of getting promoted... 1-0 up and both of your wingers were defending deep while the TT were def with 3....
There is some wharf hate going on that I don't really understand.
What's the background?

Hello pot. Have you met kettle?
it was definitely a big chance blown by Karori.
Their coach coming out and saying they could have played defensively but chose not to are interesting.
I thought early in the second half they quite clearly had made a decision to play conservatively, keep the ball, and maintain a defensive shape. At a few points while Karori had possession their winger was yelled at to tuck into the middle of the park rather than stay out wide "just in case they turned the ball over". This seemed to cause them to play a lot more nervously than they did in the first half and the back pass was always the first option, rather than attempting to go forward. It seemed dangerous at the time, and proved to be so.
That game out at Petone on Saturday saw some top football played in the last 30 minutes
The passing and movement was as good as Man Cs but with the finishing of a better quality.
Pace of the game was a little slower than I'm normally exposed to. I thought the Ref had an ok game not sure why he had a brolly on hand but it was Wellington so forgive him for that.
Mtcwyb.

Yeah and kettles a right cod

What's the background?
I do kind of understand it
There was a fair bit of arrogance in Wellington regarding Wharfies play off game especially the 2nd one
Alot of people in Wellington thought Wharfies just had to turn up to win it
There is also a large slice of schadenfreude directed at the Wharfies Moderator that runs this web site
I personally am very happy Wharfies missed out on promotion but for a different reason than "The French are coming"
I never saw that arrogance? In fact a lot of people were worried about the fairness of TT winning being as they're a rep side. That tends to suggest a lot of people thought TT had a good chance at winning.

Point of order: Feverish hasn't moderated this website since about Season 2. Think of him a bit like the Governor General or the German President.
I also didn't see or feel any of the arrogance you speak of.
From where I'm standing it sounds like you and French have an axe to grind. I'm an axe grinder from way back so no problem there, I'm just curious to know what it all stems from.
maybe those two are just upset that they share the same body?
For one I'm disappointed that Karori missed out - 1. We played them this year and they were one of the clubs that wanted to play footie and 2. as a club who will now have to travel to Team Taranaki we now have to find another $4k for the trip north....its hard enough as it is from a finance point of view for clubs.

I hear the same financial argument from other clubs - my answer is that membership of the Central league is not compulsory. My normal sympathetic, succinct nature coming into play. (If you really want to weep, try being the finance manager of NCR)
4k. Not cutting any cost there ae
4k. Not cutting any cost there ae
Probably pretty easy to spend $4k on a trip to New Plymouth assuming that a travelling Wellington side will spend the night. 5 hours each direction.
$1500 on accommodation for 20 people including staff etc
$1000 on hireage of minibuses
$1000 on meals
$500 on booze haha.
Are NCR and PNM not basically rep teams? In the regions you have to have the best players playing for 1 "club" as there isn't enough depth. Otherwise go back to a purely Wgtn league
Difference being that NCR and PNM are actually clubs. Team Taranaki isn't even trying to pass themselves off as a club, they are open about the fact that they are a rep team.
Direct from their website:
"As a composite side, all players that make up the Team Taranaki squad must be affiliated to one of the senior men clubs and are released to train and play for Team Taranaki. Those players not selected are released back to their home club each week."
So what happens now TT are in CL? NP Rangers likely to be in the premiership. Can they still have players playing for both teams??

I hope not/
Yes can play for both TT and registered club but not in the same weekend.
Yes can play for both TT and registered club but not in the same weekend.
yes aware of the 'rule', but that damages the integrity of CL and central Premisership so surely if there is someone that actually reads and writes the rules then something has to change
Players not selected of their clubs CL side just don't play? or do they play for the reserve side, whether that be cap prem, 1, 2 ???
Is there a difference. Isn't the Central Football league called the Federation league?

I don't know what the fudge it's called but there is difference. Reserve teams can't get promoted to CL

No, There is the Central League which transcends 2 federations (Central & Capital)
The leagues that feed into this are the premier leagues from the Capital & Central Federations.
Capital Football's is called Capital Premier
while Central Football call their one the Central Federation League (the one Team Taranaki won this season)
I personally don't care how many teams a person plays for as long as its only one in Central League club. If they play more than one game in a weekend it will only weaken's their central league team performance which is good for us.
As for playing Taranaki, we prefer it as it is easier to get pub charity funding for travel and sponsorship as it has a better geographic and population coverage and brings more media coverage.
Bring on Gisborne.

So CL sides can in theory use an unlimited number of players throughout the season so long as the club they play for manage the movement of players up and down grades correctly according to the rules. An advantage for those sides with more players and particularly clubs with 2-3 sides at a good level e.g. - cl, prem cap, prem1 or similar.
So what a reserve side can't get promoted to cl. big deal. whats that got to do with anything feverish
I'm not sure if you are ignorant or retarded. Can you not see a scenario of TT and NPR working in collusion to get NPR to CL? Fudge all chance but it's one of the flaws of the shark laws folk make up because they don't have a clue
