Regarded around the world as one of the greats and often referred to as the best driver never to win a grand prix.

The last of the great kiwi drivers of the era and by all accounts a great person.
RIP.

News reports he died after being tasered by Police.

Probably most well known for his time at Aston Villa in the 90s. Won goal of the Season in 92/93 (#2)

Foal30 those were the days the belts changed hands at local events but because it was not on TV, it 'never happened'. I remember reading something about that 4 years ago and it all came flooding back cause I recall that happening.

Taihape Golf Club have a par 3 hole where you tee off from the top of a very high hill side. Palmer played it once and described it as the best par 3 hole he had ever played....true story.

Helen Kelly, ex Union Rep. Fought an excellent fight to have Medicenal cannabis legalised and rightly so too. cancer sufferers should not have to suffer. i just hope the politicians whom obstructed and opposed this, in turn receive their own form of cancer and let's see how fast they will be to change this most unjust law. Medicianl cannabis is a yes.
