I'd rather have no singlet option that have that logo on my clothes.

Yeah not a nice design imo. The crest looks a bit too high up as well.
In all the pics I've seen so far - their crest always comes across as difficult to see properly - I think the blue on their crest is too dark/dull to stand out from the black. But then a digital version of the crest (on instagram posts etc) the blue is far brighter and kinda hard to look at because of the huge contrast between the blue and black - so I dunno what the solution there is. Maybe if the blue of the crest was gold it would look better.
Edit: Sorry, bit of an off topic rant there - also I'm not too bothered about what they do with their designs etc so I'm not sure why I've made such a detailed rant

Yea I can't believe someone got paid to design this. I'll add my 2 cents: A busy logo on a busy pattern so you can barely see it, even worse the shirt is a different shade of blue to the logo, which is also too small. Absolute shambles.
But yea, I still want our own singlet with a classy design lol

They had no mediums in the yellow left so I grabbed the black jersey. $40 is a deal for that. But they did have that long sleeve retro jersey for for $60, so I grabbed that but had to settle with large. Maybe a bigger fit in that one is more comfortable than medium. Anyone else bought that long sleeve retro jersey?

I'm hoping for something that harkens back to our more classic black yellow stripes whilst still retaining the Maori inspirations on more recent kits. I came up with something like this. Stripes back on sleeves like 2009/11, and Koru pattern inside the stripes like 2022/23.

Yeah we've gone a bit heavy on the yellow of late. I quite liked the Rudan season kit, I think that may have been the last season with black shorts. 09-11 kit shout is brilliant, especially given we've got Marco back! Some adaptation of that would be really cool

Officially the 19/20 Kit, Paladins first one, had black shorts, and the away had yellow shorts (on all black 🤮).
For some reason they had to wear yellow shorts for a game, and they won wearing them.
Football superstitions ensue and the players want to keep wearing yellow shorts. The shorts became officially yellow the next season. Time to break the cycle 🙏

They've definitely done that in the past, you'd assume intentionally. Definitely looks a slightly different shade of yellow to me and heavy on the black, and could it be hinting at the return of a monochromatic away kit?
Either that or this is the ramblings of a deeply bored man.

Hate to say it but in this graphic the yellow shorts actually look kinda good. Don't mind either here. Maybe I'm also liking the fact in your graphic the yellow short also have little bits of black on them, around the logos which probably won't happen in real life.
The issue mainly arises when we get a full black top and yellow shorts - like what the shark is that.

Usually they have a slightly different design pack each season, which is consistent across the kits and all the graphics - there’s definitely something in it

Honestly the only reason it's saved is because there's enough black on the kit to stop it from looking like we wear yellow with black trim as opposed to black n yellow.

Last couple of years we've had a specific kit for the Australia Cup matches. Last year it was pretty similar to the academy's shirts but with Aus Cup badge and first team sponsors - so I assume it'll be something like that again this year

As for yellow shorts, yes we've started playing way better since ditching the black. So I'm happy with yellow shorts as long as we keep winning 😁
This is an outstanding kit!! White & Yellow with black shorts. Use the Dark yellow/Gold and Black for an "Away" kit if we need to change at all. Can only think of CCM at this stage.
