Have been playing FC24 ultimate edition on the weekend, Kit is the same as last season in the game. Maybe a kit update is coming on the 29th when the standard version is released.

Yeah I think FC24 have last season's kits for the meantime until, potentially the 29th, or they may even wait for the 30th when we do release ours.
Away looks great. Home is fine. I wonder if we will ever go back to black shorts for the home kits - probably easier dealing with kit clashes all yellow and possible visually easier for players. imho, better than last season's kits
Like the away kit but do wonder what it would be like playing in Aussie in the middle of summer. In saying that dont they have special fabrics they use know
Home strip is nice too, just feel its lacking that pop off the page factor. Could be as simple as having a bolder/thicker outline on the Maori designs/strips.
You can get the players warm up/walk out kit: WalkOutTee-Front[1].jpg89.38 KB It has a big NZCIS logo on the back which is a bit meh. The design is unique and kinda cool. I may have liked it more if it leant in more to the geometric design, rather than appearing to place the geometric pattern over something akin to the away kit.
For those of you who don’t like the big red maccas logo on the sleeve - you can order the women’s team kit in both men’s and women’s cuts. Looks much nicer with the Liberty logo imo.
Unfortunately the big Chemist Warehouse logo is on the back of all of them.

I really like this one. Just a shame it's Paladin.
Home kit is just a worse version of last year's kit. Luckily the away kit looks great.
Also I'm really over the yellow shorts look. Our colours are yellow and black, not yellow with black trim, and it should be represented with our main strip. The home kit would look much better if it was paired with black shorts. Would stop the pattern from being underwhelming I reckon.
You're right it's a totally apolitical football kit my bad I got it wrong.
The Phoenix have been very open about building a relationship with local iwi since the launch of the new crest a few years back and this is nothing new.
If you think recognising Māori culture is political then you're welcome to do so. The rest of us live in the real world.
You want to state what part of it you think is political? Or just be sarcastic when challenged on your weird, unprompted comment?
To be strictly fair: we are currently in an election campaign where 2 out of the 5 major parties are running on a platform of "there's too much Maori these days". So this is political; in the same way that many of the Football Ferns are out lesbians is political. Like if you were in Romania, the very existence of Roma ("g*psy") people is political. "Political" means someone wants to make a political fight about it.
And if some people want to make basic decency and respect into a political fight, then we have to take on that fight, and win it.
Yeah lets not have anything remotely 'political' from now on. No one is allowed anything with any hidden meaning or culture behind it. Unless of course it is any accepted white culture! Fudgeing boring. Get a life Charva, absolute cringe opinion.
I didn't say anything bad (or anything at all) about Māori Culture.
I didn't say it should only be "white" culture I didn't say the kits shouldn't be political just that there was a political message (Parihaka white feathers on front)

I'm sorry the political message of "peace" is so shocking to you that you felt the need to make a negative post about it. Especially since it isn't even new for this season's kit.

Mmm yeah sure. Sounds more like you didn't get the response you wanted

Please do explain how the white feathers are a political message? I'd love to know.
Is there like a little watermark on them which I'm not seeing that says 'down with trump' or 'go Ukraine'. Seriously interested in what you see in them.

Maybe he was so deeply disturbed by the actions of NZ Police against the peaceful protestors at Parihaka that he never wants to have to think of it ever again? Maybe.
