kick off tonight against Los Halcones, hoping to achieve a couple of victories and not conceed too many goals.
Yellow Fever League - fourth edition
Fellow Kiwi League 1, Group 1 rivals Wellington United visit Homebush Road tonight in the first round of Division 3...
Boom! The trains go 1 - 0 up from a corner on 4 minutes...
2 - 0 to the Trains on 28 mins!
At halftime I'm Beating paraparaumu Disjointed 2-0 in division 1 and drawing 0-0 with Racing Fat Cockneys in division 2.
Bugger, 2 -1 at The Bush after 48 mins.
''Incumbent'' calls out new orders to shake things up. He wants his team to play with long balls instead with the score still even
Theyre playing very defensive too. Boring boring fat cocks
Ah piss! 2 minutes into injury time Wellington United equalise. 2 - 2 final score at The Bush. Grrrrr.
Tawa FC are well out of the relegation zone at the moment, 3rd place with 0 wins, 0 draws and 0 losses!
2-0 loss to Battle Hill...Going to be hard to stay in this league.
wow, only team to pull a win out of the bag in div three, and that was after going down 1-0 in the 61st minute, weas a strange game actually, all three goals were scored in the space of 3 minutes.
4 yellow cards from my lot and two from the Nix! Pretty heated for a friendly! :p
I can't remember how the old fair play went. But I'm assuming 1 point for a yellow, 2 for a red.
I think it was 1 point for a yellow, and three for a red. Two yellows = red was three points if I recall correctly (so that a player who gets two yellows would earn less points than one who gets a yellow and then a straight red).
Alright, will go with that. No red cards this week so didn't matter anyway.
shouldn't 0 points be better than 1 point?
Yeah they were an afterthought as they haven't played yet haha couldnt be bothered moving the whole table down to accommodate them so chucked them at the bottom ;)
Use the sort function in Excel to do it for you! Select the data (minus the 'Position' column), click the sort button and then choose the PPG as the sort condition.
Woohoo! a Monio Delfim hat-trick sealed the 3 points, two yellow cards though
Woohoo! a Monio Delfim hat-trick sealed the 3 points
Is he Ngati Espana?
Oh yeah!
Wellington Phoenix up 1- 0.
And then, in the 89th minute, Charlie Ring strikes to equalise. And THEN 4 minutes gone in injury time, and Charlie does it again!!! 1 - 2 to the Trains! Thank you, come again!
Terrible start for me, went down 3-1 to tegal's Oz team.
My premiership is in jeapordy! Went down 1-0 to thunderthighs united. Pretty sure thats my first ever loss in the premiership/division 1?
after sucessive relegations in the fever league, and now two draws on the trot... It looks like Wellington United has literally become the laughing stock of the yellow fever, still basking in its one time glory of being in the premiership....

You are still scoring goals Maynard...
Nix FC were robbed of a win in the last 5 minutes against the trains last night. We scored first, and then played our hearts out only to conceed in the 89th and then the 94th.
2 losses from 2 games in the Friendly league thus far, conceding 3 goals and handing a clean sheet to Sky Valley.
But sitting 2nd in Kiwi League 2 Group 1 with 7 wins and two losses :)
Question: What is the story with cards? One of my players has a red and two others have yellows, does the red get stood down a game? Do the yellows dissappear after being benched?
A red carded player can't play the next game. I think the yellow cards mean if they receive another yellow they will have to miss a game.
The friendly league is completely seperate to the rest of the game though, cards and injuries picked up in the friendly league don't count at all after that match is finished, and you can play players in the friendly league that have been suspended or injured in the normal league.
muchos gracias.
Do the cards expire over time?
e.g. Player picks up a yellow in a game on Monday, I bench them for the game on Tuesday, card is/isn't present Wednesday?
No, there is a set amount of yellow cards a player can receive before having to miss a game. The yellow card count does reset at the end of the season.
Sad face.
No red cards again! You boring lot.
My premiership is in jeapordy! Went down 1-0 to thunderthighs united. Pretty sure thats my first ever loss in the premiership/division 1?
Finally managed to get a result against you. That must be 1 win in about 10 attempts now in all competitions. With the return leg to come plus some interesting games against Paraparaumu Disjointed who always seem to do well against me, still think you're favourite for the title.
Anyway, time to log off and get fired up for the game tonight - COYN
Just doing the fair play table. The way I've done it, is a red is 3 points. A red for a second yellow is also 3 points (i.e, dont count the 2 yellows the player received, only the red card they resulted in), is this correct?
Sanchez A.F.C had a player sent off for 2 yellows, whereas TTU had one that was just a straight red. Both players cost their team 3 points. Had Sanchez A.F.C's player got a yellow, then a straight red, he would have received 4 points.
I think if you get a a second yellow you should get 4 points. 1 for the first yellow, and 3 for the red.
So then there is no difference between a yellow followed by a second yellow and a resulting red, or a yellow followed by a straight red. You got booked, and you got sent off, 4 points. You're still a dirty Swamp Monkey.
Hmm but by that example it'd be 5 points. You got a yellow, you got a second yellow, then a red.
A straight red is the same net result as 2 yellow cards,I think the points should reflect that. Getting a yellow then a straight red is also marginally worse then getting 2 yellows,so should reflect that also.
Having said that, your way would eliminate a step for me haha.
