Or not! 36 million with 4 days to go, well done
Transfers
Holy crap! Really? That's a ridiculous amount.
They obviously don't know he is only 3.5 star potential... Either there's one mad bidder or you're going to get a huge sale on this guy, with so many hours left you should get a ton of bids. Certainly has priced me out of the market!
Yeah think he must have an average scout that has put him wrong. Brilliant for me haha.
Accepted your bid for that goalkeeper. He is 4 star potential, so may go for a bit though. But at least you'll get a leg up with the bonus. You may get lucky and get him fairly cheap. Accepted because I'd rather take the cash up front than pay wages till he gets decent.
I'm looking to the future atm, if I stick at TM then I should get some promotions fairly soon, at lot of 4-star potentials in my side.
At the very worst I'll try bid him up for you ;-). I don't imagine I'll get him unless he goes for under say 20mil, but I can always keep on bidding against agents.
Man I hate transfers which expire at overnight. Striker I'm trying to get to be my 4th choice, leading the bidding with a low figure, it'll shoot up in the last hour when I'm unable to do anything about it. So this is how they get you to buy TM Pro....
It also rewards more frequent checking of the transfer market I guess. That was the way pre transfer agent anyway.

56mill for your CB, 30+ for the bid-up keeper, filling the coffers there Tegal!
Yeah I've gotten lucky! Ridiculous prices. Meanwhile I've picked up some similar talent for cheaper. These scouts are paying for themselves at the moment!
I'm sitting on $250million. Need a new centre midfield as one of my first team ones is about to retire at end of season. Unfortunately I've been too busy recently to be on transfer market. Excited at the potential players I can afford. Hoping I can see a great buy in the next few days.
Happy times. 2 scouts have him at 4.5 potential.
Argh, missed out on http://trophymanager.com/players/71065139/Jason-Price/#/page/scout/ due to watching the end of the Ravens v Chargers game, kinda annoyed!
heez i wish I had that kinda money to throw around. maybe at the end of the season when the sponsors pay out, I filling my 12500 seater stadium each home game, need to buy a decent young keeper (4 star mimimum)
Definitely want to be putting all your money into expanding that stadium! Reckon you could get almost 10k more in there. That's $200k per home game you're probably missing out on (300k average per week)
Wow, put two hopeful bids on with about an hour to go on each, came back and I'd got two players! Probably means they're both awful....
You do occasionally get lucky toward the end of the season, less people active, people either don't have money or they're saving for the NT sale. Bad time to sell, good time to buy.
so you reckon putting $19mil into seating???
Probably. I tend to increase the capacity by 500 every time I sell out.
The annoyance of the transfer market, I keep seeing guys with 3 and a half star potential go for big money, I sell a guy with 3.5 pot and he goes for 1.5 million.
I'm staying away from buying players now, ending up with far too many foreigners.
Probably. I tend to increase the capacity by 500 every time I sell out.
got it, just added 1500 to capacity
I have been looking at the transfers, but I am trying not to blow all my money in the first week, with a new season due to start.
I put a number of my players up for the transfer list but there are zero bids, which I am not surprised about
Unless your guys are studs then they usually won't get bids until a few hours to go, when the overseas teams manage to get a look at them on the transfer list. Lots of bidding wars happen late
Bought this guy for 2mill. Just sold for 71mill.
How did he get such a high routine?
He started every game in my B side. I was going to keep him, not entirely sure why I sold!
Even so he must have started the game with a fairly high amount given he's only played 39 games. I guess it's just me bitching about the fact that I had to start with all players at zero routine. Nice trading though.
He would have been created from the youth academy at age 19. They tend to add a bit of routine to make up for the lost years.
Pondering whether to sell all my good players to make a shitload from these crazy-high transfer fees, maybe look to make some cash and then reimburse slightly later in the season.
picked up this guy for $67m - first game will be against Peow tonight. I've been looking for a new striker for ages so I'm just glad to finally get one!
Just sold my best but aging striker for 10mill, might cost me a bit in the short-term but long-term I should be better off. Just have to man up and pay a massive fee for someone I think.
Just went through and did an evaluation of my team, and I am really weak after my starters in wide positions, so now going out hunting Wingers & Fullbacks.
Happy with 20 million for Scott Bastow peow? Was trying to get him but ending up bidding him up, 20 million a little too steep I thought.
Yea, put him on the transfer market without realising that he is my only decent Kiwi defender so I had to quickly find someone to replace him. Ended up signing Wynton James for 20 million as well. Younger defender with a bit more potential.
I need to start looking for a decent keeper of 4 stars at least, preferably a Kiwi as well.
4+ star Kiwi Keepers are stupidly expensive, you'll need mega bucks to get one!
Please nobody tell me that my record transfer fee was in vain.... Faith in my scouts.... Sergio Martinez
4.5 star potential (but in his late bloom) :) great catch
Excellent, one scout had him at 4.5 and the other at 4, still with the crazy prices on some guys I'm seeing I'm rapt with this one.
Think he may end up at 4, because his development status is mostly done. Probably needed some better training facilities to get 4.5. He'll probably pip it eventually mind you.
