...after leading 1 - 0 at half time and completely dominating Potential Fools came back and equalised, and then stole a winner in the 90th minute! F@#*!

And the Steam Engines lost 1 - 0 too.... grrrrr.

Out of the relegation zone with a 1-1 draw but should have been an easy win, slightly frustrating.

Being as it is the halfway point in the season, here is how everyone is going in their respective leagues. 

Generally speaking, first place gets automatic promotion, 2nd to 4th get into promotion playoff, 11th - 14th is relegation playoff, 15th - 18th automatic relegation. Sorry if this gets a bit long...

best season for me, definately. Even when I had IBU FC (pre banning) the first season promo wasn't this sharp.

Another loss.... going to come down to a few important games as to whether I stay safe.

top of the league I'm still top of the league, some very astute tacktics and the key injury of my star striker saw Team Wellington push my guys to the 88th minute 3-2 vicotry!!!

Doing my best to help you out Tegal, somehow managed to beat Auckland Nix 1-0 despite their massively superior team and me missing one of my best players through suspension. Good times

if you had you would have deserved it, your two wingers cut my defence to shreds, probably occurred cos I was demanding a very attcking mindset the whole game, I should have stuck with smarter football Also my star striker was our with injury which reduced my scoring chances.

:( I am sad this morning, my early season form that saw me battling for a promotion spot has seen a mid season slump and we have conceded too many goals to drop back down the table, lost 6-3 last night what a horrid game, Eaton kept up his scoring with a brace, but my defense needs work.

yessss! just scraped out of the relegation zone with a 1-0 win over Parakai FC.  Picked up 3 yellow cards though.

What's the story with Yellow cards anyway? I had some players pick some up weeks ago, so dropped them for a couple of games but the cards remain...do they expire over time?

Yea same.  But do the Yellow cards expire in time? Or do they hang on until the end of the season/once the player receives a red?

They hang around until the end of the season or until he gets banned unfortunately. 

They have a yellow/red card points system I think and in some circumstances, a red card ban may not necessariily means that the player starts back at 0 points again.  Think it is explained somewhere in the User Guide (can't log on while at work though).

Had the misfortune of facing a 4.5 star goalie, 1-0 loss despite dominating the game

1-1 tonight against 5th spot, still holding top spot, tough home game next up though against 8th place but it looks to me as though spleenpool has stacked his 'b' team of late.Perhaps not, I beat the same team 1-0 away from home.

Two big games in the midel of Kiwi League 1 Group 1 tonight. Los Halcones Locos FC host AD Fafe and The Trains are away at Richmond SS. Big big games...

0 - 0 at half time in both games.

Los Halcones Locos leading in the stat that really matters most though... three yellow cards AND one injury inflicted. The Fafeful are not happy. No yellows (or reds) from the lily white pure Trains.

Yet.

Two simultaneous goals - one to AD Fafe and one to Richmond in the 50th minutes - boooo!

Los Halcones Locos FC equalise just 8 minutes later...

Charlie Ring equalises for The Trains after 64 minutes...

..and four minutes later bloody Richmond take the lead again. Grrrrr.

It's a bloody conspiracy... once again AD Fafe and Richmond score simultaneous goals... Fafe up 2 - 1 against the Cones.
