Agree with you.
Damn I hate this day.
They can't go a week without shooting themselves in the foot can they?
Hehe they have to do something to keep themselves in the news since they aren't in the play offs
It has been revealed that Zola's daughter currently lives in Melbourne and is living at the home of one of the Victory's directors.
Nope.
Didn't Magilton just get re-signed?
Fabio heading home?
Fabio heading home?
They signed Traore, so its unlikely they want another visa left back.
The Victory board really are a joke, they don't understand professionalism at all if this is true.
Apparently the offered a contract to Fabio for next season, he agreed to it and signed, and then they withdrew the offer. Very similar to the Magilton situation.
Where do you get your info from?
Magilton was not offered a contract. He was told that he had to apply with all the others, which he declined.

I saw him interviewed on Fox sports.
Did he have anything to say?
All he said was that he had enjoyed his time and was disappointed that he had to go through the selection again.
but Mrs P. wear the pants.
As our Tony will testify.
He on't have a free reign like he did at the Roar.
How does that comparison work?
Ange needs his head read. Just as he is getting back all his credibility as a coach, he takes a the A-League's version of Liverpool.
Roar have owners with deep pockets, I can't see why they wouldn't be able to keep him.
Is it still April Fools Day in Australia though?
Damn I hate this day.
Damn I hate this day.
I thought I was safe after midday, and got fooled before by ex-girlfriend saying she's pregnant on her Facebook, before remembering she's in Britain so it had just turned April Fools Day there.
442 online editor now saying "Magilton has gone home - official"Colvinator2012-04-01 18:49:24
OFFICIAL: Magilton has gone back to Northern Ireland, doesn't want to be a part of selection process for new boss.
They can't go a week without shooting themselves in the foot can they?
seen it coming well mabye not him leaving but mabye getting fired. Who would be the new coach then?

Zola on his way to speak with the Victory, if tweets are to believed. Aussie based people, so not April 1st shenanigans.
Gianfranco Zola could be announced as the new Melbourne Victory coach as early as this week following the departure of Jim Magilton on Sunday afternoon.
The former Italy international and West Ham United manager is reportedly already in Melbourne and is due to meet the club to discuss a coaching role.
It has been revealed that Zola's daughter currently lives in Melbourne and is living at the home of one of the Victory's directors.

So much Aura.
Exciting!
Melbourne Facepalm FC
But the agent who has sole negotiating rights for Zola in this country, Buddy Farah, has told au.fourfourtwo.com that the reports of Zola to Victory are totally untrue and mere speculation.
Farah recently spent time with the former Azzurri favourite in Italy and said the ex Hammers boss was currently being offered deals with European clubs.
"It's not true," he said of the reports. "He's in Europe and I can tell you he's fielding offers from some very big European clubs.
Besides, do you think Gianfranco Zola would come to meet the Victory board? Theyd be going to meet him, a bemused Farah added.
Sounds dodgy. Isn't that the plot of a Liam Neeson film?
Didn't Magilton just get re-signed? Anyway, I'd love it if Harry Kewell took on a player coach role.
In other news, we gave one of our major sponsors, EnergyWatch, the arse today, due to their CEO posting distgusting, racist, sexist filth on his FB page.
Bloke is legit everything that is wrong and ugly about this country, all wrapped up in an ugly, short-arsed package.

Dont really see the problem, does depend though when the offer was made.If it was done when Magilton was still there i can uderstand why it wasnt formalised. As for Magilton everything i saw was that he wasnt prepared to go through the application process.
Anyway who cares long may they remain up the creek.

Jeez KP .You'd be rapt. Will he clear out all the "dead wood" though?? Hmm.

QPR, more like! Leave the Reds out of that comparison RR.
Why would he go there? I'm sure the Indonesian owners of the Roar would be happy to offer him whatever the Victory do moneywise, and he has so much going for him at the Roar.
It could all come down to the ACL, if Brisbane make it past the knockout stage he could stay on to take the club through the finals.
But why would he take on a huge risk like the Victory when he has done so well building the Roar the way he has?

Ange don't do it.
Maybe home is where the ...Victory is.....(and the Heart is)
Maybe a very good money offer
...or Maybe Ange rules the Roar
but Mrs P. wear the pants.

Why wouldn't he? Surely he has proven he knows what he is doing, and it has been proved this season that the Victory Board do not know what they are doing.
If they are going to stump up the money to afford him, I would be giving him as much freedom as he wants.
