I watch A-League more than anywhere else, but have definitely seen it overseas as well. These are international new guidances on handball etc that they are working with. Have definitely been high profile managers overseas ripping into it. Though maybe A-League is dealing with it worse? Not sure...
I enjoy watching the Scottish Championship with no VAR!
RR Got to want a Roar loss. Pretty unlikely they'll fall over in the last games but they do have a heavy schedule so you never know.
City doing the job easily so far.
Outpost Glover, the Keeper? Atkinson is out with a long term injury.

Colvinator And somehow this ref finds an extra minute on top of the 5 added on. Baffling.

Leggy I don't watch football other than the A-League (or the occasional Burnley game). Is this VAR/handball craziness isolated to the A-League or is it an issue in other leagues too? The more football I watch the less I understand the rule... all I know is I've seen several this season not given that to my uneducated eye were far more of a handball than that one.
VAR and the overly strict offside calls also suck a lot of excitement out of goals...
Is it an issue with the rules (so FIFA's fault) or just A-League refs/VAR not being very good? The fact the commentators (so called experts) can't articulate or even agree on what is a hand ball isn't a good sign for casual fans.

Not that you’ve got much choice 😉
Elvis puts the Victory ahead, 1-0
Boooo, Susaeta levels us up. 1-1
That's just pathetic by Brimmer.
Half-time. Victory looking by far the more likely team, hopefully keep that up and can win...
Macarthur goal disallowed as assist came off an arm.
That's one part of handball law I like now, even unintentional handball leading to a goal doesn't count. Though commentators just said that's being changed next year, which is going to end up with some very contentious goals being allowed.

1-2 Macarthur
Victory's 11th goal conceded from a corner this season!

And his setpiece delivery was rubbish all night too. Frustrating game.
A free kick for handball should alway be for an intentional handball. The current 'rule' goes against natural justice which is why it is being rescinded.
Probably the worst VAR you could ever see. No wonder people are turning off football
That goal sums up the Jets this season. O'Toole clears the ball straight into his own player for an oggie. 1-1

5 goals in 6 games for Kamau, puts the Wanderers 3-0 up.
4-0, the Snakes are getting a whacking
Ibini makes it 5.
Not sure who I wanna win here
Metcalfe slots one in from a wide angle, 1-0
A Roar oggie survives the VAR, 2-0
Not sure who I wanna win here

Champness!! 2-1
Slater's right, Atkinson should've done better.
2-2!!
Head a feeling that Roar were going to punish City for not converting all those chances. City can be quite open at the back at times.

Not sure why commentator thinks injury time should be added on for goals that happened in half. The times for injury time are a mess, but that's not it.
Terrible miss by Maclaren. Wonder if that's going to come back to haunt them.
Seem to remember City having a poor match before we played them last time as well...
Not sure how Galloway scored from there but he did, 3-2

Score flattered Brisbane. They were lucky it was not 4/5 nil. They kept giving the ball away and against a side like MC you will get punished.
2-0 Glory
When 0-0 Victory (Kruse) had a penalty saved them got a man sent off. Another Victory self explosion.

Gestede has the ball rebound off the post, hit him and go in. Game on, 2-1
Only way could see Gestede scoring, the ball hitting him and going in!
And Glory close the gap on us

Might be another wet pitch for Roar v CCM tonight
Brisbane Roar advises members and fans that we're constantly monitoring the forecast and liaising with stakeholders.

Our expectation is this storm will subside by KO and the match will go ahead with minimal interruption.
Player and spectator safety will remain the priority. pic.twitter.com/z4ZLmo3QMb
Pitch looks to have held up pretty well. I think we want the Coasties to get up here?
