Tomorrow's Fixtures for Round 6 of the New World Canterbury Premier League FC Twenty11 vs Mid Canterbury Universities vs. Burwood Waimak vs. Burwood Western vs. Parklands
Why is it that Waimak always get biased refs?? (According to their Facebook page)
Lol I read that and thought as a Facebook admin why would they leave that up there.
I was at the game in question and apart from one incident of a quick free kick (and then later on not allowing the same thing) I can't think of anything else dodgy.

l wasn't at the game. But this says more about the two Waimak supporters than the Referees.
Now that I mentioned Facebook admin, wouldn't it be great if they all worked harder to get rid of those f**king annoying comments from bots trying to get people to watch fake stream of the game? It does my head in looking at comments only to find it's from Asad Imafukhead wanting to get people's credit card.
We certainly do at our club but I agree so many clubs don’t!
It’s certainly changed from the Bet365 days when clubs would be contacted privately for information on games or to argue what the actual score was because Bet365 said something different to the club pages
Covid in the Parklands squad so their Round 9 game against FC Twenty11 has been postponed with their Chatham Cup tie against Coastal Spirit on Monday has also been postponed.
Mainland advised Canterbury Premier League clubs last week that Mid-Canty have withdrawn from the league. No reason given. All games against them are null, no points and no goals. And no play off required as the bye exists. Mainland are still to decide on misconducts in the games. I now see that Mid-Canty are in Division 2.Dinamo Chris
Looking at the draw upcoming and Mid Canterbury games have all been cancelled and their points voided. Have they folded or unable to play?

Update
After much thought and consideration the club have decided to pull the first team side from the Canterbury Premier League, taking them down to div 2.
Andrew Annable (head coach) and the club believe this is a good chance to reset our first team side, and allow younger players the opportunity to get some crucial game time preparing them for a higher level of football.
MCUFC Fixture 18/06/22 The above was posted on their facebook page yesterday, understand that five serious season ending injuries to first team players have lead to the decision. I will post the updated table shortly.
Not the 1st time Mid Canterbury have withdrawn from the league! Seem to recall them pulling out at the end of the 2012 season and then speaking to a couple of people the other day they recall them pulling out mid season sometime around 2015/2016.
Whilst it’s nice for them to try and get involved at the higher level, maybe they need to think about it long term as yes it does involve a lot of travelling when playing for Mid Canterbury.
Interestingly I notice their main striker had been missing for a number of weeks, did he step back from playing or was he injured?
He certainly kept them in a lot of games over the last few years.

Luke Martin, their player coach last season, has been injured all season and has not played a game, was the leagues top scorer last season with 16 goals, Mid Canterbury scored 25 goals last season. Luke is not the coach this season.
Can guarantee that Luke Martin played against Waimak and can provide photographic evidence. Probably plenty of clubs that have lost five players or more this season. I know we have.
He also scored against Parklands a couple of times from what I’m aware earlier in the season too. It would seem that without him they’ve struggled and so then taken this decision. Isn’t there a rule in the regulations whereby it’s a big fine if they fail to fulfil fixtures? Wonder if this becomes the case here or they’ve managed to escape it
