Wharf 4 UniVic 0 (goals to Cain, Gray, Poly 2). Wharf on top for most of the game.
Played three at back into wind in second half with four up front, and it paid off.
MoM: C Gray (gets better each week).

Decent shross to make it 3-0 too
Has anyone else noticed that Karori Wharf Premiers will by tomorrow have had the same referee
for three games out of the last four? He does well enough but it seems odd, to me.

Because the establishment are jealous of a Wharfs success and it's a conspiracy :)

who have you been having coffee with there feverish????
or is someone at CF trying to be extra nice to you?
watch out… there are usually hooks and a price to pay with these type of favours…..;-)
spartacus your dribble seems to polute every thread. What is your actual agenda? Apart from talking in riddles
Was thinking the same
All those NW folk interested in the afforementioned ref should know that in a previous life he played 200+ games for NW
PS .. it's great to have ex-players taking up the whistle.
Club legend! He has been doing a lot of refereeing this season by the looks.
His son aspiring to meet those 200+ games too!

why do you feel people need to have a agenda
i was just winding up feverish's conspiracy theory.
there is non that i can see but someone pushed the boat out so i applied some actions that feverish would possible understand and hope he would see the funny side.
hence ;-)
no malice intended towards ref or club as both have high standing in my books.
Seatoun 1 Wharf 1. The Karori boys had enough territory and possession, both with the gale
and into it, to win four games, but trailed 1-0 for 20 minutes and equalised only in the last
few minutes. This summed up the Wharf season...lots of nice footy but not enough goals.
PS: The listed ref did not do the game. .
He was at Diamond/Miramar instead.

Result?
1-1. Good result for Stop Out.
Ref was rubbish (Hi Nigel!)
with three points and goal diff it looks like it's in the bag for SO
horrible result for wharf
horrible result for wharf
yeah they didn't do too much wrong apart from force the ball home
same old story feverish. Playing for pride now
Plenty of points left

At the end of the day football is the winner
Stop Out run in. Should be two easy wins in there.

Today's result L/Hutt 2 Olympic 1 So Petone + L/Hutt on 9 points. Seatoun 6 still has a chance to avoid a drop

3-1 according to CF website.
Have to check - Yer looks that way at CF
What wharf team have you been watching this season? Can't remember the last time I saw a wharf team play "nice football".

maybe he based his comments from looking at the score-sheets like you said you do
maybe... How would that help?
Wasn't just my comments Paolo. Folk from Miramar and Stop Out and Tawa (CC)
commented that the young players Wharf are using this year are playing a skilled and
entertaining form of the game, as against the usual Cap Prem stuff. Having said that,
I'd like to see a bit less of Route 1.
brand of football is irrelevant, results are what matters

i agree regarding results but having different styles that you can play will produce results in the long run it just takes time for the young guys to learn them and know when and how to apply them.
i thought this is what your second or third team in a club was for but i may be wrong.

Fair enough, haven't seen many of their games but didn't see much from the time I did, certainly wouldn't have put them in a skilled or entertaining bracket.
Agree with the versatile and adaptable comments as that is what is required to win cap prem when you have to play on surfaces that are as bad as Fraser Park, Kelburn Park etc.. Almost a different sport.
and Hutt Park.
Hi Paolo. I didn't say Wharf are ready for CL. They were outplayed by Tawa. I didn't say they pass it round like
World Cup players. They don't. And losses to Mar, IB and SO and a draw with Seatoun showed up many
weaknesses. But it seems to me that their control and passing are better than we have seen from Wharf and
similar mid-table Cap Prem teams in recent years, and that they create heaps more chances than before
(thus = more entertaining).

When talking about Kelburn and Fraser park, we are talking about a different level.

Hi Loftus. Didn't say that you said any of those things, didn't even suggest. Just disagreed with your comment based only on what I had seen and know of the players they have.

I hear you have already sewn up the Stop Out coaching gig for next year after being back two weeks. Impressive!

Sheesh a man in the know is our feverish, always leading the way and breaking incredibly accurate information..... Not sure what sort of club you run Feverish, but pretty sure a coach who completes the goals set by the club will be back the following season to continue on the good work. At this stage it seems that there is still every chance Stop Outs current coach can do that. But then again I wouldn't really know as I don't have anything to do with those decisions.
P.s, I have been around longer than you know, but good to know your keeping close tabs on me Feverish.

who knows? Mike Holmwood obviously didn't meet his goals set by the club despite getting them promoted into CL a wee way back. Maybe you haven't been around that long though..
