Sigh. Angst. Sigh.
The Mighty Warriors - Fever League Fred
Very annoyed at that loss, probably our top 8 hopes gone
Far to early to say that N-Bomb
Ok then, huge dent in our top eight hopes. No easy games left (bar maybe the Raiders/Panthers)
Solid win for the Warriors, but the defence is still a worry. I don't rate Friend, but tonight he was close to the best player on the park. Mateo also deserves loads of praise.
One thing that only dawned on me today, just how young this team is.
Locke (23), Tupou (21), Henry (20), Hurrell (20), Slaimankhel (20), Maloney (26), Johnson (21), Packer (22), Friend (31), Matulino (23), Mateo (27), Mannering (25), Taylor (22), Brown (25), Lillyman (28), Luck (30), Lousi (22)
Disagree with you on Friend, I feel he's a very servicable starter. Nice stats, certainly is promising, I just fear for when Maloney leaves, are we really gonna have to rely on only Johnson in the halves? I really don't rate Leuluai
7 in a row for QLD.
Thank you Origin, two wins on the trot, both expected but still good to pull them out. Great performance from Konrad Hurrell, the boy is fantastic, and I thought Lillyman and Maloney were terrific too. Into the 8 now, gonna be tough to stay there, tough road in.
If only Maloney had got his kicks.
Exactly my thoughts, when he missed that pen I reckoned it could be crucial. Disappointing result, that Norman try angered me too, not really a try, but under the rules I can see why it was given
Sigh. Another annoying loss last night. We have the worst wingers in the comp at the moment, and boy did it show. Although Slaimankhel is a promising fullback, please Bluey, get him off the wing! Drop Manu, yeah right.
Manu named captain for this weekends game. This won't end well, and for such a vital game it is madness. Maloney would have been my pick to replace Mannering as captain for the game.
oh ffs, Warriors choke again!
Was looking great for so long there. I've run out of words to describe how rubbish Tupou is, was at fault for two tries yet again.
Some positives to take out of it, for next season now I guess, but I'd much rather us to have lost 20-6 or something like that
Bring back Ivan.
Yeah, I never recalled us losing two in a row by 40 after prior choking two in a row. Big problem is that our so called stars all have major flaws to their games, Manu (hands, decision making), Johnson and Hurrell (defence), Locke (injuries), Mateo (decision making). You could make a case for Nathan Friend or Maloney to have been our best this year, bar Matulino.
Belated positive was Tuimavave, and pity Manu's 100th came in the circumstances that occured. The spoon is still available, that'd really suck
Panthers at $3 to beat the Warriors, I know they suck but still.....
Might actually take a punt on that. It'll feel dirty, but business is business.
What an awful game. Neither team deserved 2 points. The last 20 mins, you just knew the Warriors would choke again.

Enjoy your winnings. What an awful season, but at least the Warrior-loving public leads to good odds at the TAB
They always seem to have a bad season after doing well in the post season.
I don't think Maloney has played well this season, makes me wonder if he has checked out mentally. Maybe for the last 2 games Tuimavave should be given a run at #6 with Slaimankhel at fullback.
Bluey gone, probably a fair call, he has "resigned"
More Than Happy He Has Gone
The Replacement will be extremely interesting.......Hope it`s not Steve Kearney might go down the same road
I hope they don't sign Kearney to replace him, his record with both the Eels and Kiwis have been very poor. John Ackland has done very well with the Junior Warriors, so I think he should be given the chance. In the next couple seasons, the senior team will be pretty much full of all his players from the NYL.
Names been thrown around: Ackland, Anderson, Iro, Kidwell, Kearney, none exactly fill me with confidence but I agree that it'd be hard to give Kearney the job after his record with Parra.
Hearing through the grapevine that we've gone and thrown a mega-offer for bellamy, hope he turns it down, I don't want that asshole coaching the Warriors. Be like finding out Arsenal appointed Tony Pulis
On the other hand, he is better than the other candidate rumoured to be in contention.
It'd be interesting to see how he does with a squad that is within the salary cap..
Another week, another big lead blown.
Another week, another big lead blown.
Surely not, they were well in front when I changed over at half time.

Oh, wow, 36-0 second half! LOL, what an appropriate way to finish the season.
Congrats to the Doggies, they have had a great year as a club. The club got the Minor Premierships in the NRL, Toyota Cup and the NSW Cup.
When are the Dally M awards? Adam Reynolds will pick up the rookie of the year easily and could go close in the Dally M I think. But I am picking Ben Barba for the main award.
I wonder what Leuluai is thinking, McClennan would have been the one that signed him up for next season.
Further enforces the stupidness of giving someone a contract a whole year before he was set to come over
Coach of the Year - Des Hasler
Prop of the Year - Sam Kasiano
Rookie of the Year - Adam Reynolds
Lock of the Year - Paul Gallen
Provan-Summons Medal - Ben Barba
Second-Rower of the Year - Nate Myles
Hooker of the Year - Cameron Smith
Captain of the Year - Jamie Lyon/Jason King
Toyota Cup Player of the Year - David Klemmer
Winger of the Year - Akuila Uate
Centre of the Year - Josh Morris
Peter Frilingos Memorial Award - Ben Barba
Representative Player of the Year - Nate Myles
Barba 3 point lead in the Dally M with 5 rounds left.
5 point lead with 4 rounds left, that is pretty much done and dusted.
7 with 3 left, wonder what the biggest winning margin is.
Yeah think I can go to bed now. Hate how late this is always on.
