Have only watched it streamed but seen and heard good things. It's a bit US oriented so lots of bundle tanks with stars and stripes on them but seems true to the original. I'm not having much luck at Blitz on the iPad. The controls are just not intuitive for me.

Started the KV-2 on a 54% success rate.  Many games later had dropped to 49%...lost about 10 straight at one stage...finally got it back to 50%...it really is a tank that depends on your team mates...otherwise your stuffed...very frustrating...but is there a better WOT feeling than one shot snotting a KV-1, Nashorn*, or a Churchill I? 

*My last game last night...a good scout was doing his job...that 600 hit point Nashorn never saw it coming...dead.  LOL followed.

I've seen KV-1s's pop. I had a cracker the other day, in my Comet I Ammo-racked a Type-54. He was already damaged but took 800 points of him and sent his turret up into the Himmelsdorf sky.

Some of the maps have changed a lot since last year...am I right?  El Halluf (whatever it's called), Redshire...just to name two?

yup - seem to be making them more medium friendly than anything.., also Stevo, theyre bringing out a new Tier 8 light tank, the T49 which has a 152mm derp gun option - i guess a very fast KV2 -

My KV-2.  Up to 52% victory rate.  Exciting times.

Just ammo racked a Tiger I...very cool new game feature...

Took 6 battles to get a win in tier 9 last night.  It was horrendous.

I think the important part of that is at least it was Tier 9

One of them ws a 76% chance with a DPS and LUCK platoon along with my (me, Marlow and Tally)  platoon and we got done.

Should have been a walk-over.

Took me the same in tier 6 across Sunday and Monday nights.

Learning that the KV-2's 1st ammo of choice should be HE.  Is this wise?

Had three big fat '0' games in a row.  Capped off by missing a 100% Churchill I (who was showing his side armour) from point blank range.  Really pissed me off.  Should have been the easiest one shot kill ever.  Shot before aiming.

Most goods seem to only run HE.

To get that guaranteed (even if it doesn't penetrate) 300hp (at least) damage (rather than shells simply bouncing off) is not to be sneezed at...

A poor night last night...not helped by me drowning inthe first 30 seconds on South Coast.  Some right cowards for team mates too.  Just had a look on wotlabs at my record...quite a poor return results wise...need more wins.

I had another horror night last night.  After 8 battles I think my average WN8 was over 2.8k but I'd won two.

I played okay most of the night but even platooned wins were impossible.  I desperately need them to include strongholds in overall win/rate though as my Stronk win rate is well over 75% and would boost me nicely.

I believe in Karma HN, what comes around etc. You will hit a golden streak very soon!!

Had some good battles at the weekend as well as those heartbreakers, a 5k damage strongk in the AC 48.  A top gun in the S-35 (I put the boomstick back on it).  Even turned over CNC in Strongholds and 'dash' CNC in Clan Wars.

Kind of balanced by getting pasted 15-0 by LUCK last night.

New tank.  Gotta love the rapid fire gun.  Cons: lacks hitting power, cardboard for armour.  Huge target.  Sluggish.  Explodes lots.

I've got the Chi To on the grind at the moment.  I wasn't looking forward to the Chi Ri but Circon goes okay in it and I was platting with some Clan mates and one was going well.  I think it's a matter of mastering the play style (and not being shit).

Have 5 tanks unlocked and awaiting purchase and the tier 9 Foch later this week but no dimes. Not running Premium currently makes credits very hard to come by.

My stats are slowly going down the drain...and the KV-2 project was in imminent danger of being completely scrapped and the crew transferred to another Russian heavy (IS)...then she finally delivers...epic game too...

That is alot of broken tier 8s...

New purchase.  IS-6 gold blood noob tank.  Has pen issues - nothing that gold rounds can't fix - for the most part.  Shoved the KV-2 boys into it ftw.

Proper looking tank I reckon.  Turret machine gun ftw.

If some people knew, they'd accused me of being a "cowardly gold round noob"...but if I pay 11,500 gold for it - I'll run her as I plz...like this camo...really do...already had an "epic" in her...had the nervous shakes in the end, scored well over 2,000 damage after I was down to just 160 hit points in a comeback win...

PS: I'd quite like to run a stat mod (just stats - so I can see the other players stats before the battle starts)...I don't want all the other stuff that comes with that XVM mod thingie - my computer seems to struggle when that is installed...any suggestions?  Please.

There used to a XVM lite mod pack out there.

I don't have an IS-6 but I would quite like one.  I have a KV-5 and a T-34 but don't use them.  Generally run my SP or JT 88 as a tier 8 Prem.

I use Anfields, it is a pretty mimimal XVM then you can use the XVM website to customise it to just do what you want.  Personally I customise Anfields to turn off the %age chance of a win until after the battle as it's demoralising.  Even on the results screen I've had a 10% and a 14% win chance battle in the last two days though (sigh).  Find his Twitch channel and it's linked from there.

I then add a plus 30x zoom and the AutoScope mod.  I take the last 2 out of Gamertech's mod pack (download it and nick the relevant files). 

I want this star badly...we're inching our way to the 65%...

Ran the IS-6 like a total blood noob tonight.  Running the KV-2 with combat rations...need that extra 10%
