Sauce?
Didn't someone claiming to be Smith's cousin say several months ago that Smith would get a niggling injury ruling him out of the ASB Internationals?
[/QUOTE]
Nice work! Hopefully he get's released for internationals now!
Will you tell Keane that?
if some1 can get me his number i'll give it a shot. not sure if he will take my call tho
Another full 90. Lost 2-0 though.
Played at Left Back.
Tommy getting a rest for Carling Cup game against Millwall on now. Ipswich lead 2-0.
Full 90 for Tommy in 1-1 draw with Sc**thorpe. Put a header over the bar near the end according to the Town website.
Would he be fancied in the Premier League? I know he's getting good game time etc and probably wouldn't be ideal to make a move from Ipswich though.

This one is going to annoy me. It sounds like one of those niggling injuries that you might decide to tackle by taking a rest any time. Of course, Smith plays through it 8 or 9 games into the season and then decides to take his rest during the international window.

Yes.
Reid, Nelsen, Wood and Smith are key to the success of these matches.
Smith carrying a slight injury and won't be coming back, ok for him
to play but not ok for him to be sat on a plane for long periods
His sister (my cousin), he'll be "injured" and won't be able to make it... blame Roy
Started today's game in the left back position
Full 90 for Tommy... including a 83rd minute winner. good new for Tommy!!!
Nice work! Hopefully he get's released for internationals now!
Good work Tommy!!
Unlikely according to the Ipswich website...
The Blues boss confirmed that Smith and ODea have both been withdrawn from their international squads due to their back and knee injuries respectively.
Keane is operating outside Fifa's intent here. The international window is not intended as a chance for players to take a break and get over a niggle. If Smith was injured (which he is supposed to have been for some time) he shouldnt have played overnight. Good enough to play last night = good enough to play in a week. Anyway, if keane doesnt want him to travel, and if Smith happy to take a breather, then that's the way it will be.
This is not good from Keane...especially for these games for us...
I was very confused. He's fit enough to race off after scoring a winner.....
NZF should be bitches, they have the right to get an independent doctor to access the situation. then when he found to be fine. he will be made to come back
