think you're being a little harsh, if you're not watching it live what difference is four hours? it finished at 4 (live) and was available pretty much first think in the morning.
That's ok on a weekend for a 2am kick off, but typically I get up about 6am and watch it before I go to work on a Monday morning. And what if it's a 4am kick off, does that mean it's not available until10am?
you'll have to wait and see, first game and it was available 4 hours later, you never know it might be available quicker with you other scenarios. You're literally slating them after 1 weekend.
Let's hope so, I mean they announced they'd regained the rights in Feb, you'd think they might have been able to sort it out in that 6 month period, but fingers crossed...
Sky won't prioritise things like being able to watch from start of on on-going game, or having instant access to games once they're finished, because it directly conflicts with and replaces (better user experience) their MySky boxes which they still charge $15 a month for!!!
Yea I think its fair to slate them after weekend one, I dont anticipate much of an improvement based on how they typically work. They never prioritise getting on-demand content available right after the live event finishes, for any of their sports as far as I can tell. My Dad doesn't bother for his rugby - he likes to watch the games from SA when he gets up, but doesnt bother with on-demand because of sky being unreliable, so he times in getting up for when they are showing replays on the live channels. It's archaic but that's the sky model. I am missing that Spark service element too dougie. I watch the arsenal games live but no others, my old pattern would be to wake up and watch the highlight clips of all the other games without getting out of bed. Can't do that anymore. I'm paying for a sky service and yet here I am trawling the internet for illegal highlights so that I don't have to wait until later. Ugh

Agree entirely, I'm looking at Optus from AU, and have used it before and a SmartDNS service and on the face of it, it's probably the closest to Spark. They have just hiked their prices from a reasonable $15 a month to a less reasonable $25 a month. .
'20Legend' above is right, SSN streaming customers are the lowest in the Sky ladder of importance. Kayo (the SSN version of SKYs Aussie equivalent, Foxtel) have their faults, but they offer a much slicker service than SSN do, at least it seems to have some attention paid to it. Although SKY have said SSN is getting a major upgrade by the end of Aug (I assume they mean 2022 - lol), so hopefully it's a decent one.
But they move at such a glacial pace, no matter what part of their business
Well I went on instagram by mistake and spoiled the score. Thanks Sky!
I avoid social media like the plague when I'm watching a game late, its usually the club that posts the resulyts first. I;m shocked you;'re not blaming Musky boy for ruining the result.

I do my best but often, more often than not when I visit the dunny, I find myself subconsciously opening social media :(
I've got no bone to pick with Elon... either Twitter gets better or it dies in a hole, win win!

Yeah done similar so many times. Avoid everything all day at work, even telling people who would usually talk about it "don't tell me, watching when I get home" before they can open their mouth. Then get on the train home, automatically open up Facebook momentarily forgetting I'm avoiding something and it's the first post that appears.
Yea I HATE the goal rush carry-on. I like to watch the Arsenal game, then watch the little 3 minute highlight clips of all the other games later. It ruins that experience as they've already forced the goals down my throat while I was trying to watch the game I really wanted to watch.
Yeah goal rush is a terrible watching experience. Sometimes they have the 'non goal rush' version on another channel so worth checking. Didn't watch the last Arsenal game live (choosing to sleep and watch when I got up in the morning instead), and the live version was goal rush with half the screen taken up with the live scores of the other games, so switched to the on demand replay version which didn't have that.
So after messaging Sky every week to moan about goal rush coverage I think they might be starting to get the point.
Today United is being shown on SS1 and SS7, with SS7 being the goal rush feed. HOWEVER, turns out the feed on SS1 is the "Enhanced Data Zone" feed, which looks like this:

What absolute nonsense!
The description on both channels said non-goal rush coverage too!
