so hard for it honey
he works hard for the money
so you better treat him right
What on earth is going on down the A19? We really needed you to take a point from Blackpool last night. Please, please do us a big favour on Sunday and beat Cardiff and help the team you love to hate regain their rightful place back in the prem... after all three points for the Boro is hardly going to be a threat at the top end of the table. To gain automatic Promotion it's usually 2 points a game average over 46 games. As it stands... Boro played 20... points 29... average per game 1.45. 26 games left. 92 points required. 92 minus 29, equals 63 needed. Games left to play 26, divide into 63... 2.423 points needed from every game, home and away from now to May!!

..and headbutting your players isn't going to help either. Disgusting. The latest developments: http://qprreport.blogspot.com/2009/12/tabloid-qpr-to-sack-jim-magilton.html
Er, hold on.
I like Akos but I have the feeling that this is no more than a heat of the moment thing with minimal contact and I would suggest he needs to consume a big bowl of harden up.
The way I see it these players are not performing (that dream run earlier on only makes it feel worse). You can blame that on the manager and sack him but where does that leave us - right back where we started when we signed Ian Dowie as manager. Not only that but you've just given control back to the very people who are not performing for this club. If I was their manager I WOULD WANT TO BE GIVING THEM A BL**DY GOOD KICK UP THE A#SE MYSELF!!!!!!!
We have to give a manager a chance to achieve something. I'm sick of us constantly changing and I certainly don't want to see Gareth Southgate managing this club.
Sir Alec struck Beckham with a flying boot in just such a heated exchange and it seems the situation was handled fair better by all involved at Man U.
I back Magilton!
QPR manager Jim Magilton was suspended after midfielder Akos Buzsaky issued an 'either he goes or I go' ultimatum to chairman Flavio Briatore.
But a dressing room witness revealed to Press Association Sport there was no headbutt and Buzsaky merely took exception to Magilton's forthright post-match opinion.
"There was no headbutt, nothing like it. Akos was actually sitting down at the time," said the source.
"It was exactly the sort of discussion you'd expect after a disappointing defeat. Jim bent down to speak to Akos, it got a bit heated, forehead to forehead, and (coach) Keith Ryan told Jim to move away. Jim did, but then Akos got up and ran out of the dressing room.
"(Assistant boss) John Gorman told him not to be so stupid and to come back inside. But he refused."
Buzsaky then spent half an hour wandering around a stand at Vicarage Road, in view of a room full of journalists, showing no signs of having just been headbutted by an angry 6ft Irishman.
Magilton, who told reporters after the game the incident was down to "a difference of opinion", put his side of the story to Briatore on Tuesday but was told yesterday morning he had been suspended and not to show up at the club's training ground.
The former Ipswich boss also spent much of Tuesday attempting to speak to Buzsaky in a bid to heal the rift, but the player did not answer his calls.
Gorman and reserves boss Ryan have walked out in support of Magilton, who insisted: "I categorically deny any allegation of wrong-doing."
Yet Rangers appear to be backing their player, yesterday issuing a statement denying Buzsaky had handed in a transfer request and quoting the 27-year-old as claiming he was "focused on our next fixture against West Brom on Monday night".
Press Association Sport has also learned that when Gorman asked for a show of hands from the players in support of Magilton, and none raised their hands, club director and Briatore's right-hand man Gianni Paladini was also present in the room.
Magilton is the fifth permanent manager to work under Briatore in the two years since the Italian took over.
Former Middlesbrough boss Gareth Southgate has already been linked with the role. Youth coaches Steve Gallen and Marc Bircham have been placed in temporary charge
Thanks for putting me on to the Beagrie comments. That's pretty much how I see it.
Gutted. A win and Rs would've up in 7th or 8th place and well back in the hunt AND back on track some what.
Still, a draw is a "good" result considering what has happened the past week & the fact they were saying the Rs were on a hiding for nothing. The players finally repsonded but gee...those extra 2 points would have been very sweet.
Well done to WBA.
Oh and my feeling at this point is that Akos can f**k off!!
At last 3 easy points
At last 3 easy points
And I was right!
"Hooped Dreams" - Mick Kelly
A diary of our first season as a "rich" club. An interesting read. My position on Briatore et al has mellowed slightly after reading the fans comments in here. Then they went and "sacked" Magilton "by mutual consent" so I'm just left frustrated and confused now.
"Queen's Park Rangers: The Complete Record" - Gordon Macey
Superb!! I had the previous edition but this one updates the past 15 odd years including the dark days of our slide into financial difficulties and the lower leagues (did I really want to know?) and our efforts to claw our way back out again. Fantastic detail, stats and photos.
"Queen's Park Rangers: Player By Player" - Ian Welch
Details of every player who has ever played for the Rs. A strange book particularly with regard to the incomplete and inconsistent profiles on each player. Still a useful reference none-the-less.
Jeepers! Paul Hart will be looking over his shoulder.
Jeepers! Paul Hart will be looking over his shoulder.
Well that was easy to predict. At least there is some consistency - we are still an absolute laughing stock!!!
Good luck Mick Harford - I give you a week in the job at this rate.
I've had enough of all this meddling and crap decision making. Clearly this won't end till Briatore leaves. I say good riddance and damn the consequences. We are never going to have any stability while this clown has any involvement with our club. All it will do is delay the inevitable.
I should have listened to you earlier Lonegunmen.
