So...... you haven't won a league game against a London side this year. Cant go on like that forever and you do still have Fulham at home and Arsenal away to solve that.
You cant win the league but you can pick up injuries and you have some great games coming up and this game isn't really important. Rest your talent.
Drogba is the best player in the league but you shouldn't expect him to be on fire all the time.
Huddink is a great manager and you should do everything you can to keep him.
Zola and Clarke have given you some great times over the years. Return the favour.
Lampard needs motivation. Let the Upton Park crowd provide that to him by leaving him on the bench for 90 minutes.
Let Joe Cole lead you out before he is wheeled back to the sideline to a standing ovation.
John Terry left the West Ham academy at 14. It would not be right for you to put him in a position that makes him question that decision.
West Ham in Europe will give better development to players you will steal in future years.
Enough said.

"The mood is already angry here inside Stamford Bridge and Drogba's behaviour does nothing but inflame the situation. He simply cannot help himself.

I'm not going to defend him. He's a fantastic player on his day but a loathsome individual at times. I suspect it was the previous blatant handball in the box that had Chelsea fired up and the second appeal was simply the spark. But then their guy should never have been sent off so it all evens out. Chelsea could and should have killed the game off and didn't. End of.

Ballack, Terry and Drogba behaved like petulent w**kers, and no neutral will have a shred of sympathy for them after such carrying on at the end of the game. That was disgraceful.
Thank you for those gifs Arsenal, wondered what all the fuss was about, now i see.

I've tried to resist responding but I can't help it.
The definition of handball according to the laws of the game is when a player:
"handles the ball deliberately (except for the goalkeeper within his own penalty area)"
I saw 2 instances where ball hit hand and in the second the defender had his head turned away from the ball. Sorry no penalty there, the ref got it right.
Just how is ten men behind the ball better football ?

And also note, Barca had more shots this morning as well - Chelsea only had more shots on target in this morning's game.el grapadura2009-05-07 11:05:34

That's true. It would be an unbelievably harsh way to decide the game based on an unofficial interpretation though.
..and you're right about the sending off, it shouldn't have been a red card.
