A mate in Christchurch, who is coming up for the Mexico game, just tried to buy an All Whites shirt from Rebel Sport in Christchurch. They said they won't have them in until December. He explained it would be more useful if he could get it before November 20th's game...
So he has found one for $119 from the Soccer Shop.
I said I would ask about where the best place to get one is, and whether the fever card etc. offers any price advantages. I said I could potentially buy one for him and he could have it here waiting for him when he comes up for the game.
I just use Soccer Shop. At least the same price as RYOS and everywhere else if not cheaper, and they have a larger online inventory.
The term "Supporting sponsors" mean anything?
I don't think judging people on where they shop is very nice .
would you make fun of me if I liked skirts from glassons?
No, what I am saying is that given the choice and apparently the same price, I would always use a sponsor, be it club or here. If they are prepared to chuck in $$$'s or Products and Services to assist in running things the choice is clear. Good to try and give Sponsors a return and always let them know that you have done it because of their sponsorship. Sponsors and their $$$$'s do not fall out of trees. Good ones are hard to come by.
Like i said they have a larger (at least online) inventory. As far as im aware RYOS dont sell the NZF N98 jacket. Its certainly not on their website. Soccer Shop just so happened to have it online, and couriered to my door 24hours later.
RYOS also sell other crap, like Super 15 gear. Soccer Shop dont. So i could argue that supporting them is a more worthy cause for being 100% dedicated to the game. I dont really see it being an issue, even if buying stuff from Stirling Sports. Its still Phoenix/AWs gear being bought, which is creating a market, which is good.
