This is a bit random but is any one planning on heading to the game from Days Bay? East by West Ferries are taking expressions of interest for a ferry from Queens Wharf to Days Bay post game.
We've gone past 16k in pre-sales already for @WgtnPhoenixFC v @gomvfc on Sat 18th @skystadium. @metlinkwgtn have put on extra trains and buses - all the deets here. This thing is going to be 30k+ easy and may SO. Get your tix before they're gone!!https://t.co/OswVq8pfa7
Average ticket price say $40. 30,000 tix and APL making $1.2million plus. They really should give us some of that money. Sydney fc struggling to break 20k for their semi, victory struggling to break 15k and mariners won’t get above 20k capacity.. We are by far and away giving apl the most money. They will probably be hoping we get through because they will make the most money easily if we host.

Yeah its a real shame that the clubs get diddly from getting into the final series. It just makes zero sense especially when there is no prize money for winning the league.

Considering the League is bleeding money - APL needs big ticket sales from all finals it seems to limp through

APL is beleding money just like the clubs are...... APL gets a chunk of the TV money, so why not share the income from the gameday tickets.
Clubs get money each year from the AFL, who derive revenue from sponsorship, TV rights, final ticket sales and so on. It would be nice to keep the cash from next weekend, but we won’t - the best we can hope for is it translates into tickets next season.
I'd like to see the "Home" team get 50% (Incorporates ground hire, advertising etc & Potential profits), The "Away" team get 25% to cover travel & accomodation etc, The APL get the last 25%. Or is that too simplistic?
