Macallister scored the same number of goals as Ifill in the season he was here.
Rest of A-League Transfer (Now with 99% RR - Love your work)
Macallister scored the same number of goals as Ifill in the season he was here.
Heart I think will struggle this year, they need to find a number of players to replace those they have sold/let go.
In: Josip Tadic, Golgol Mebrahtu, Steven Gray, Patrick Gerhardt, Andrew Redmayne, Dylan Macallister
Out: Brendan Hamill, Eli Babalj, Adrian Zahra, Rutger Worm, Alex Terra, Kristian Sarkies, Kamal Ibrahim, Kliment Taseski, Maycon, Nikola Roganovic, Craig Goodwin, Wayne Srhoj.
With still a chance they will lose Good & Behich.
Fixed
Didn't mind D-Mac when he was with us, he could do an ok job for them. Agree they will struggle, especially if he's gonna be your no.1 guy
Dexter Rosales - the next Sery Elie de Campos!
This kid has been getting good reviews from the NSWPL, and had been linked to the Wanderers.
Was talk that the Jets will be announcing a striker signing today also.
Burchill has paid his own way to Australia to take part in a week-long trial with the Jets.
The 31-year-old striker represented Scotland six times between 1999 and 2000 and his previous Clubs include Celtic, Brimingham City and Portsmouth.
He most recently played for INSEE Police United FC in the Thailand Premier League under former Adelaide United assistant coach Phil Stubbins.
http://www.footballaustralia.com.au/newcastlejets/news-display/Former-Celtic-striker-trialling-with-Jets/48195
Wonder if he will pop up anywhere else on trial.
Is Burchill's former club the club that Daniel has just signed for? We could swap an under-rated player that Ricki has an inexplicably low level of faith in for an over-rated one that Ricki has an unjustifiably high level of faith in!
SMH are reporting that Adam D'Apuzzo and Jason Trifiro have signed for the Wanderers.
The 27-year-old, signed by former boss Vitezslav Lavicka, was absent from training yesterday and it's understood he has been told he does not feature in the plans of new coach Ian Crook.
Moriyasu signed for Sydney two years ago and has another season to run on his contract, but the club hope to reach an agreement with him, thus freeing up a visa spot in the squad for this season.
Will be a good move for Sydney, if they can get him off their books.
I thought he was a decent player, but a 6 year contract is massive for a 19yr old player.
What was Ricky Zucco like for TW? He scored for Wanderers in their trial game last night.
Jerrad Tyson, Reece Caira and Jason Trifiro all become Wanderers FC players today after officially signing up to join Australia’s newest, oldest team.
What was Ricky Zucco like for TW? He scored for Wanderers in their trial game last night.
Not great.
Adelaide sign 28 year old Argentinian Marcelo Carrusca Ex Argentine U20 player
His Wiki looks interesting....but we have seen that before
So. Let's just call him Toto for short.
Changing from one Bakrie's owned club, to another. At least we don't need to worry about him scoring against us anymore.
The 22-year-old, who also holds an Italian passport, is a product of the youth system of Brazilian giants Flamengo and has also spent time with Italian Serie A Club Catania.
Ribeiro was most recently with Albanian side Skënderbeu Korçë where he played in UEFA Champions League qualifying matches and was a key member of their team that won the 2011/12 Albanian Superliga title.
http://www.footballaustralia.com.au/news-display/Jets-sign-Brazilian-youngster/48423
Kofi Danning has left Brisbane Roar for Belgian club Cercle Sportif Vise, pending a medical on his arrival in Europe.
The former Sydney FC young gun only signed with Brisbane 14 months ago as one of Australia’s brightest young prospects but found it hard to cement a regular place in the Roar starting eleven and will sign a two year deal with the option for a third season.
CS Vise, like Brisbane Roar, is owned by the Indonesian Bakrie Group and it’s this link that has proved crucial in Danning’s move overseas.
Minniecon, 23, becomes the club’s 13th signing in what will be the Wanderers inaugural season in the Hyundai A-League.
He has dropped a bit of weight over the off season, maybe he realises it might be his last chance.
Neumann, who last season played in the Argentine second division with Independiente Rivadavia Mendoza, is a product of the Argentinean first Division club River Plate and has also played at Estudiantes alongside the Reds other Argentine import Marcelo Carrusca.
That one even appears to be a real person. Great job Kozy, you must be convincing more and more people by the day that you're a real coach.
Talk is that the Wanderers will be announcing 2 visa players at 10am Sydney time. One of them is expected to be Dino Kresinger.
No room for Hiro's in Sydney.
The NRMA Insurance Western Sydney Wanderers FC today confirmed the signing of their first two foreign imports, with Croatians Dino Kresinger and Mateo Poljak agreeing to terms with the club.
Will be interesting to see the Wanderers fans reactions to a pair of Croatians signing.
Both decent players.
The only player to have started every match for the Roar in their two title-winning seasons, Paartalu is on the wanted list of United Arab Emirates Pro-League Baniyas.
He has twice rejected rich Asian deals since joining the Roar in 2010 in his desire to build a Roar dynasty.
But the 26-year-old Sydney product's bid to extend his Brisbane contract, which has one year remaining, has stalled with the Roar unwilling to meet his terms.
That, plus the chance to potentially earn four times the money at the Abu Dhabi-based club, has Paartalu potentially ready to move.
He is one of three players Baniyas are considering to bolster their midfield.
In his favour is that he is the preferred choice of Baniyas coach Jozef Chovanec, who had Paartalu recommended to him by former Sydney FC mentor Vaacítezslav Lavicka.
Should Baniyas follow through on their interest in the former Australian under-17 representative, he could be gone by the end of the month provided Roar officials agree to sell him. If Brisbane play hardball, it would cost them in the long run as Paartalu would be able to leave on a free transfer when his contract expires next year.
Paartalu was unhappy on Thursday night after being confronted by a Roar staffer over moves made by the player's agent David O'Keefe to secure a permitted third-party sponsorship to help keep his star client in Brisbane.
But his fondness of the club and the Roar fans remains a strong as ever.
"I love this club, the playing group and the supporters, and would love nothing more than to win three A-League titles in a row with the same club," Paartalu said.
"But having turned down two big offers in the past to remain loyal to Brisbane, it's now time to start considering other options and it's been frustrating with how the talks with the Roar have gone to date."
Paartalu's disappointment is in contrast to Brisbane skipper Matt Smith, who has signed an upgraded and extended three-year contract, with the option of a further two seasons.
The 29-year-old defender had attracted interest from two Asian clubs, including Chinese outfit Dalian Aerbin.
Some quite interesting players being signed into the league - obviously you can guarantee about half of them will be terrible or head cases or both but on paper the quality does seem to be there.
Will be interesting to see the Wanderers fans reactions to a pair of Croatians signing.
Might upset a few of the Greeks, Italians and Maltese in Western Sydney. Not sure the Lebanese community will be too bothered though!
Hope their physio's are fulltime.
Mariners impressed by the talent in the Pacific. We should be at the front of the queue considering Ricki sees these guys in the flesh in the qualifiers so let's hope we're also aware of the best players

Remind me again how many clubs are using an import spot on an Island player?
Signed from J-League 2 side Kyoto Sanga, the 19-year-old has represented his country at both U18 and U19 level and will be a boost to Roar coach Rado Vidosic's stocks of central defenders.
Montgomery will arrive at Central Coast from UK partner club Sheffield United after Blades Chairman and Mariners Director, Mr Kevin McCabe, played an instrumental role in endorsing the Mariners club and culture to the player.
Cassio finally an Aussie, freeing up a visa spot.
http://au.fourfourtwo.com/news/250266,cassio-completes-australian-citizenship.aspx
But they have a full 23 man squad, so unless they get an import youth player as an injury replacement for Teeboy Kamara, it isn't much use at the moment.
