Wasn't having a snipe at D-Mac, more a jibe at NoGolGol. I would have been fine if we picked up D-Mac if the loan striker didn't happen.

Heart I think will struggle this year, they need to find a number of players to replace those they have sold/let go.

In: Josip Tadic, Golgol Mebrahtu, Steven Gray, Patrick Gerhardt, Andrew Redmayne, Dylan Macallister
Out: Brendan Hamill, Eli Babalj, Adrian Zahra, Rutger Worm, Alex Terra, Kristian Sarkies, Kamal Ibrahim, Kliment Taseski, Maycon, Nikola Roganovic, Craig Goodwin, Wayne Srhoj.

With still a chance they will lose Good & Behich.

Didn't mind D-Mac when he was with us, he could do an ok job for them. Agree they will struggle, especially if he's gonna be your no.1 guy

Is Burchill's former club the club that Daniel has just signed for? We could swap an under-rated player that Ricki has an inexplicably low level of faith in for an over-rated one that Ricki has an unjustifiably high level of faith in!

JAPANESE midfielder Hirofumi Moriyasu is poised to leave Sydney FC after being offered a payout to annul his contract.

The 27-year-old, signed by former boss Vitezslav Lavicka, was absent from training yesterday and it's understood he has been told he does not feature in the plans of new coach Ian Crook.

Moriyasu signed for Sydney two years ago and has another season to run on his contract, but the club hope to reach an agreement with him, thus freeing up a visa spot in the squad for this season.

Will be a good move for Sydney, if they can get him off their books.

Newcastle Jets have signed 22-year-old Brazilian attacking midfielder Bernardo Ribeiro.

The 22-year-old, who also holds an Italian passport, is a product of the youth system of Brazilian giants Flamengo and has also spent time with Italian Serie A Club Catania.

Ribeiro was most recently with Albanian side Skënderbeu Korçë where he played in UEFA Champions League qualifying matches and was a key member of their team that won the 2011/12 Albanian Superliga title.
http://www.footballaustralia.com.au/news-display/Jets-sign-Brazilian-youngster/48423
Kofi Danning has left Brisbane Roar for Belgian club Cercle Sportif Vise, pending a medical on his arrival in Europe.

The former Sydney FC young gun only signed with Brisbane 14 months ago as one of Australia’s brightest young prospects but found it hard to cement a regular place in the Roar starting eleven and will sign a two year deal with the option for a third season.

CS Vise, like Brisbane Roar, is owned by the Indonesian Bakrie Group and it’s this link that has proved crucial in Danning’s move overseas.

A LUCRATIVE offer from the Middle East threatens to cost Brisbane Roar the services of midfield star Erik Paartalu.

The only player to have started every match for the Roar in their two title-winning seasons, Paartalu is on the wanted list of United Arab Emirates Pro-League Baniyas.

He has twice rejected rich Asian deals since joining the Roar in 2010 in his desire to build a Roar dynasty.

But the 26-year-old Sydney product's bid to extend his Brisbane contract, which has one year remaining, has stalled with the Roar unwilling to meet his terms.

That, plus the chance to potentially earn four times the money at the Abu Dhabi-based club, has Paartalu potentially ready to move.

He is one of three players Baniyas are considering to bolster their midfield.

In his favour is that he is the preferred choice of Baniyas coach Jozef Chovanec, who had Paartalu recommended to him by former Sydney FC mentor Vaacítezslav Lavicka.

Should Baniyas follow through on their interest in the former Australian under-17 representative, he could be gone by the end of the month provided Roar officials agree to sell him. If Brisbane play hardball, it would cost them in the long run as Paartalu would be able to leave on a free transfer when his contract expires next year.

Paartalu was unhappy on Thursday night after being confronted by a Roar staffer over moves made by the player's agent David O'Keefe to secure a permitted third-party sponsorship to help keep his star client in Brisbane.

But his fondness of the club and the Roar fans remains a strong as ever.

"I love this club, the playing group and the supporters, and would love nothing more than to win three A-League titles in a row with the same club," Paartalu said.

"But having turned down two big offers in the past to remain loyal to Brisbane, it's now time to start considering other options and it's been frustrating with how the talks with the Roar have gone to date."

Paartalu's disappointment is in contrast to Brisbane skipper Matt Smith, who has signed an upgraded and extended three-year contract, with the option of a further two seasons.

The 29-year-old defender had attracted interest from two Asian clubs, including Chinese outfit Dalian Aerbin.
