But if not, then it seems rather mean; he hasn't done much wrong ...

Interesting. My eyes told me that most Newcastle fans think he's taken far too long to get to the A-League, and will offer very little as his best years are well and truly behind him. He's only coming back to Oz as his gig is finally up and nobody else out there wants him.
Griffiths banned for 2 weeks for calling Ben Williams a f***ing c**t
I'm so torn on that....

Sauces. So he is signing with CCM again?
Jets pulled out of talks with Arnie.

Herbert for Jets?
Guess Arnie is off to Sydney then.. which may rule him out of the AW job
You would suspect that may be the case. Sydney have a bit more cash and who wants Tinklers' shit?
Wonder if the AW gig was a sticker.
Was wondering the same thing. Failed Socceroo/J League coach and loudmouthed Aussie he may be but personally I think he is just the sort of coach the AWs need. Looks unlikely now though.

It is believed Jets officials will interview a candidate, believed to be Clark, in the next few weeks.
The move comes just days after the Jets announced they had ceased negotiations with former Central Coast boss Graham Arnold.
Clark has had a relatively short career as a manager, guiding Huddersfield Town from 2008 to 2012 before joining Birmingham.
The club, however, is in danger of being relegated to the third tier with speculation he won’t hold on to his job.
Phil Stubbins appointed Jets coach.
so the knights look like they are going down and will be sold back to newcastle, still the same owner for the jets right? not looking good

That's good to hear. The last thing the A League needs is another club going bust
Tinkler chucking up the for sale sign http://www.theherald.com.au/story/2366112/jets-future-clouded-tinkler-declares-sport-days-over/?cs=303
The Jets will always survive in some form even if they go bust. They just have too many supporters to ever not exist entirely.
That's so much better than any other commemorative A-League badge ever

As feared, the Jets can confirm @joshbarresi tore his right ACL in our match vs @juventusfcen and will require a knee reconstruction #NTUA

Tinkler reckons he's in negotiations with EPL and Euro clubs to buy jets.
