Newcastle Jets - Better than C-Diddy would hope.
"the Phoenix shouldnt be in the A-League"... looks more like Branko shouldnt be in the A-League! What kind of name is Branko anyway? Its like Bruno but with more wank
It is a Croatian name, and to him your name is probably strange.
442 Belief factor 4/10.
Surely if this was the deal, there would be a bit more story to it?

"Football Federation Australia has wiped its hands of any direct involvement in the Culina dispute, confirming on Wednesday it had no authority to set aside a player contract as the Jets had asked it to do. The matter is now set to go to the National Dispute Resolution Chamber, which makes binding decisions over contract disputes between clubs and players."
Speculation.
I love it.
Branko and Jason Culina have a tendency to polarise opinion, but it's hard to find anyone who sides with the manner of their demise. Football Federation Australia officials won't go on the record, but to say they're shaking their head at Nathan Tinkler's axe-swinging is an understatement. Players and coaches at other clubs are even more astonished. The consensus is this is the ugliest, nastiest sacking in memory. Tinkler's stock in the business world is at an all-time high, but his stock in the football world just hit a record low.

a) if the extent of Jason's injury wasn't fully disclosed, then the Jets have a case
b) otherwise, I don't see why FFA should step in and help the Jets just because they went and threw a whole pile of cash out the window.
If they're really trying to make the league sustainable the last thing we need is for them to bail clubs out when they make silly mistakes - especially if they're rich clubs - or rather clubs owned by rich people!
Like it's been said above, I feel sorry for Culina cause it sounds like he really hurt himself, but don't really care about Brank. Don't like the guy and at the end of the day that's what happens to coaches all the time - they get sacked. In the Seria A this year 2 coaches lost their job before a ball was kicked. So Branko suck it up
Only one week into the A-League season, the Newcastle Jets have today reached 10,000 Members, a target that was set earlier in the year.
Since first launching the 2010/11 Membership campaign, the Jets have been thrilled with the response from the community in making Membership a priority.
We have been delighted with the success of our Membership campaign, CEO Robbie Middleby said.
To have the second highest Membership count across the A-League is a huge achievement for our Club.
People still wanting to secure a Jets Membership should not worry as Membership packages are still available with access to the remaining 12 home games.
Thank you to everyone who has gotten behind the team by purchasing a Membership package, Middleby added.
Membership is the best way to support our Club I hope we will continue to see our Membership count climb in the coming weeks.
Papers have been saying this for two days now.
Andy Harper and John Kosmina's Love Child?
Ljubo coming back?
Maybe back banging a drum for the Squadron at least.
