Macarthur are pretty rubbish tho (hopefully they are still really bad in Rnd 26)
Draw or a loss makes little difference though, we still want to be winning as many as we can rather than stutter to a fourth spot. Our goal difference is horrendous compared to theirs ☹️
Our match vs WSW in Rnd 25 has more of an impact on our Top 4 chances but the more points they drop, the better.
RR I literally got more excited about that last minute winner than just about any Nix goal this season. The look of disbelief on Kurto's face was priceless.
Mind you, Mac have every reason to be furious that Piscopo wasn't given a second yellow before he provided the assist for the Jets first goal. Very poor refereeing.
RR
Ah, dang! 7 points to catch them.

We have WSW next week and they have City in Rnd 26. So the door isn't closed on Top 4 but it's gonna be hard.
Outpost Sydney now level with us on GD, we are only 5th on Goals Scored.
We really need a MacArthur win tonight, if WSW get a point then at best we remain 5th one point off 4th, at worst we could be 5th and 6 points behind.
Hore puts the Roar up vs the Jets, 1-0

Soft penalty awarded via the VAR imo. O'Shea converts, 2-0
In hindsight, yeah they got that look penalty call right. Definitely enough contact made.
Roflmao, what a goal to concede by the Jets Keeper. 3-0
Ffs Macarthur, can't you help us out just this one time? Borrello scores just before HT, 0-1
Nodded off & woke up just in time to see Toure slot a late winner for Macarthur, 2-1
Nooooo, Borrello equalises with a header on the last kick off the game. 2-2
We need to win our own games, we can’t rely on those trash clubs to help us.

I have a Google Sheet that runs simulations for the remaining games & produces tables. These are the %'s of the 5005 simulations that you make it with those points:
Top 6
34pts - 54.67%
35pts - 82.42%
36pts - 95.96%
37pts - 98.74%
Top 4
39pts - 64.06%
40pts - 80.78%
41pts - 94.47%
42pts - 98.98%
Top 6

Top 4

A Draw would be good here.
Geez the pitch is a mess
Not sure what is worse, the pitch or the football
Second yellow for Beevers for the afters but VAR doesn't intervene for a late Victory penalty. Ends 0-0
Geez, looks like I missed a good finish last night. Macarthur level in added time, only for the Jets to score a stunner to win it soon after. Jets remain alive in the Top 6 race.

Heck of a shot.
It's the 95th minute, scores are level and then Brandon O'Neill does this 🤯

Moments after @mfcbulls had scored a late equaliser, the @NewcastleJetsFC midfielder came up with this bolt from the blue to seal the three points⚡️

CCM hosting City in the early game. A win for CCM locks them into a Top 4 spot.
Victory beating City 1-3 in the ALW semi final atm.
City have a penalty saved in the 89th minute, after bringing it back to 2-3.
And then ...

ALW semi going to Death Strikes
Victory win on penalties, after being reduced to 10 players in Extra Time. Katie Bowen and Hannah Wilkinson both missed penalties for City.
Bos opens the scoring with a very tidy finish. 0-1
Nisbet's shot takes a deflection, 1-1
WSW beat Victory 2-1 & lock in their Top 6 spot.

Definite case to be made that MV's visa signings have been the worst in the league this season. Kadete's shocking pass that led to the WSW's first goal was just the latest failing from the three visa defenders, while Miranda's incredibly stupid, unprofessional tackle basically killed MV's chances of a top 6 spot.
Sydney winning is best for us, luckily they are 1-0 up atm.
I'm taking a tough-love attitude to the Nix these days: get the necessary points, earn your right to a playoff and don't rely on other results.
With that in mind I'd rather see Perth win this. Very much enjoyed their revival under Zadko this season.

Zimarino with a beaut to make it 1-1. Been threatening something like that ever since he got into the team.
Lolley and Mak make it 3-1
Grant makes it 4-1. Are Sydney finding form at the right time of the season?
Sydney doing what the Nix couldn't. 4-1
