CORRECTION: There was a typo earlier on the list of teams from @FootballSouth2 receiving a bye through the preliminary round of the #ChathamCup, it should have read Geraldine rather than Greendale

A foolish mistake.
It would be interesting to see also the eligible teams that did not enter.
Hmmm, I just realised - Bohs play out of UniMount, so who are the team entering the cup as "UniMount"?
My understanding is that BOHS are a Sunday team connected to Uni Mount. I imagine Uni Mount is Uni Mount's Saturday team.

I believe Ngongotaha (NRFL Division 2) are the only top tier (NRFL Prem, D1, D2/Central League/Cap Prem/Mainland PL, Football South PL) team not entered.
Northland (NRFL Division 2) can't enter as constituent teams have entered.
If you consider levels where other teams have entered from, probably around 12 to 15 potential candidates who have given it a miss, but none who you'd look at and go, 'that's poor'.

No, Bohs are the Saturday team now. They play in the AFF Conference.

I think it's both - so BOHS have teams on Saturday that officially are Uni-Mt teams and then they have a team on Sunday which is BOHS even though they play out of Billy Mac.
Maybe for the purpose of the Chatham cup the Saturday BOHS team has to be called Uni-Mt.
Papamoa had a big win against Tuakau. Something like 7 nil. Tuakau deserved a goal and almost put away a nice bicycle kick.

Just asking - did the Parklands coach get sent off late in the game? We couldn't tell, just looked like it.

I think he was asked to move from the technical area for the way he appealed what looked to be an elbow to the back of a head of one of the players.
The ref said he didn’t see it that way and commended the Parklands captain for how he asked the question, but felt that the coach was a little over the top in how he approached it.
Suppose the Cap Football teams are happy Gisborne and NP Rangers got knocked out in Prelim. Means the longest away trip in the next round could possibly be Havelock (assuming NCR get the bye)
Does anyone know when the Chatham Cup draw is, and if you can follow the draw live anywhere?

It will be tomorrow about 12 - best thing is to check NZF website / facebook or Twitter

50/50 chance for either NCR or Havelock to get the bye. It's random, not seeded.

LH vs Mar at 545 Will be the pick of the bunch of say. Would expect a good crowd. Greeks vs Petone at 545 also should get a good turnout. Where is everyone heading?

If Cap Football decide Naenae 2 is a death trap I'll try Weka, Maidstone and Fraser. If we play It will just be Fraser.
