Also check out the CooK Strait Sailing Club (www.CSSC.org.nz) we are planning a Fiasco Regatta at Labour weekend if you are around.

EDIT: Have just seen your posts in the Raven owners club... and I have just joined some dots... I fiollowed your pre-buying and delivery froM nelson thread. I just didn't know that that guy and the Phoenix Sthn Jeff were the same guy... realisation dawns!

Knock to the head as well when collar bone broken? lol

Sadly (well not really sadly) I will be in Europe over Labour Weekend, but I am very keen to get involved in the CSSC events, maybe even with LG as Crew!

You have just over a month to get better before our first game of the season. Wouldn't be the same if you were at home in bed! I realise this is an ongoing treatment but between bouts, I meant.

story?

Walking down a street in the city centre a group of guys crossed the street to where i was, one of them put his fists up which i ignored, then i got blindsided by one of them. Luckily they left it at that because it was 7 v 1 and there weren't many people in that area to help. Put a bit of a dampner on my trip though.

Losers like these two.

http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/10469537/Party-of-500-has-police-scrambling

The didn't get charged, not even for under age drinking - the one on the right is only 17, the cost of having police attend three times during the night, they don't have to pay for. it's the second time the one on the left has had an out of control party - the last one result in the house getting totalled. What a pair of losers.

I don't mind people having a good time or even a drink but I bet the nieghbours got naf all sleep and the mess in the morning on the roadway etc.

Ps: I hope they have as much enthusiasm in trying to find jobs.

I vaguely remember reading somewhere a few months back that they are looking at a new technique that may even eliminate the need to use Chemo which would be good for patients. Fingers crossed and of course for you too Steve.

Flatmates who come home at 3am on a Tuesday morning and sit in the lounge talking, with the tv on and play with my mechanical dinosaur that roars.

Edit - Question: Did I overreact by going out to the lounge, picking up said t-rex toy and saying 'dude, it's f**king 3.30am and it's Tuesday'??

Honesty please.

Do they have work at 8:30am? Do you do it to them?

It is a bit rude doing that at 3:30am but some context around that would help.

Not sure about their work schedule but everyone else starts at 8:30. One person at 6am.

I would/have never done that to them. If I bought people over at that time I would go to my room. Noone else has done it either.

Keep us up to speed on this. Curious to see how long this goes on for.

8:00am Friday Morning - Another call to noise control (After the 9:45pm off, it cam back on at 6:30am), this call resulted in getting the email address of the head of noise control, worded an email to him and got no reply.

9:00am Friday - ANOTHER visit from the noise control group (Not sure why it took an hour), no music since.

So further update to this:

The police showed up one day (About 1-2 weeks after the music issues), the couple living there had been yelling abuse and throwing things at each other for 2-3 days. The cops searched the house, I also saw them pull her over down the road and search the car, a notice was put on the door of the house.

From then they kept throwing stuff out the door of the house, both of them screaming at each other, throwing things (A TV got thrown at the garage door), they broke 10 windows in the house, few more visits from cops, whole pile of rubbish started to appear in the front yard.

Then saw a CCDHB car visit one day, and they wandered around the house checking it all out, next day some Housing NZ people turned up, the following day some maintenance men showed up and boarded up all the windows. Haven't seen the people there since...WOAH!

They are very aware that any admission would put me in a great bargaining position for pay rises etc.

Knowing full well that nobody gives a flying f*ck about how good you are or how they will struggle without you and thinking that way is all but meaningless.

I've met you - I bet you are amazing at whatever you do - Really mate I bet you are outstanding.

But if you think that matters in any way shape or form or if anyone cares outside your family than you are wrong.

Muppets like SIOBHAN DOWNES, who writes at Stuff.co.nz in

"Of course, the history of Scottish independence goes back quite a bit further than that (see Mel Gibson's Braveheart for more information)."

Oh Dear, oh dear, oh dear!

See http://www.theskepticsguide.org/podcast/sgu/476 for a pretty comprehensive catalogue of the historical inaccuracies in the film, including but not limited to:

1. Kilts first appeared c.500 years after William Wallace.

2. The Blue face paint Mel Gibson is adorned with dated to approx. 1,000 years BEFORE William Wallace (but close)

3. Isabella, Wallace's love in the movie, was 3 years old and living in France at the date of his famous battle.

Taking the piss (no.341)

"A Swiss goalkeeper is considering legal action against supporters who urinated in his water bottle during a recent match in the Swiss First Div. FC Baden goalie Reto Felder says he is "still feeling sick. I took one sip and realised it was warm but thought that was because of the sun. By the second sip I realised something was wrong." The Swiss FA are awaiting FC Baden's decision on this "serious incident."
