OK. I'm already over the RWC. Sorry, I really did try to get enthused about it.

Could have boosted their viewership by 4,000 if they had televisions on the trains in Auckland on Friday night!

To be honest, I think even 50 million would be a pretty inflated figure - guessing it could be between 20-30 million at the very most.
(thought that all the hype and money spent on it was excessive and frivolous but am a bit sad that we couldn't properly repatriate it)
So has Happy Feet become a Happy Meal?
I would laugh my tits off if a deep sea fishing trawler has scooped him up in their nets!

Police spokesman Kraljevic Gudelj said: "It appears they were engaged in a passionate act in the bathroom where at some stage the sink broke - leaving a jagged edge that severed the woman's hand when she fell to the floor."
The hand was reattached after a six-hour operation by surgeons in the city of Split.
I see what you've done there.

Thought is was a C & C Music Factory Appreciation Thread!

It's one of those situations where you can't laugh, it doesn't "rule" or "piss you off" and there is no feelgood about it, but at the same time...
(sort of like the time I saw someone wearing a Sunderland shirt in town)

I didn't realise your arm bone extended into your hand EG.
Most of us have a joint there called a wrist...
Regardless - below or above the wrist, or even through the wrist, I have a very difficult time believing that porcelain could cut through bone (even finger ones).

Over half of the searches were for Brazilian hair, and 29 percent for Indian hair, which has been used for decades in the production of wigs, according to one Indian human hair export website."
Wouldn't have thought that you could make hair extensions from Brazilians.

Not sure about this (good/bad) - but why does a black egg ball shirt cost $220 and a Nix shirt cost $140?

I would be interested to find out the reasons for this and what are the definitions on a birth certificate.
Surely the biological father if known should be on the certificate (I'm talking about biological parents as opposed to actual care-givers)?
Who brings up the child is a seperate matter from conception and birth.
A, shall we say, "larger" collegue suggesting I had put on weight and must have plateaued with my exercise regime and not seeing the irony that she weighs at least 40kgs more than I do.

Student activism. Refreshing to see in these days, but protesting about making student unions voluntary (amongst other things)?
I just googled Dale Farm and it is only 5 miles away from where we used to live.
