Not good signs for a demoted Dons outfit, who would have had visions of grandeur of at least vying for promotion back to League One this season.
After an 'alright' start to the season - 8 points from their first 5 matches, they've since lost 3 in the league on the bounce. Haven't managed to score in 3½ games since their 2-0 win away to Crawley Town either.
Seems that things have started to turn online as well. A once highly praised keeper for the Dons is now coming in for some criticism. Based on the below highlights, some of that is well warranted ⬇️
Copping a bit of flak on the bird app too. Keeping in mind these are highlights just this morning, but it sounds like he's been making a few mistakes which have been costly. Fans at this level, and in a dog-fight of a league like this aren't going to be too forgiving for much longer. But the negative sentiment can be hard to shake, especially if form/results don't turn around.
Here's a selection of some of the feedback too, all from this morning's result, but I have seen it creeping in over the course of this season so far. Not exactly a glowing endorsement of what's been going down for the Dons.
Hopefully these issues will start to turn around shortly, long season ahead to make up for transgressions. Will not want to lose the #1 spot either, otherwise, as mentioned, it's a long season on the pine. The whole situation might turn feral soon as well.
