Quality celebration - scores a worldy, and stands on a hoarding in front of the fans. The hoarding falls over so while his teammates are jumping all over him he is apologising to the photographer that the hoarding fell on.

Replay of the Burnley game tomorrow morning 7.30 am Sommet Sports. Forgot to record it on the weekend, so looking forward to this one!

All I know is Woodsy scored a scorcher, no score or anything, so I'll still enjoy watching the whole game.

yeah, he charged back into the midfield a couple of times to win the ball back for Leicester, and had some nice touches as well- including setting up the first goal.
He looked a bit gutted to be subbed off, which also shows a good attitude. Hopefully he will continue to to well with minimal pressure over the last weeks of the season

After playing really well and scoring v Bury, it's very disappointing to see Chris not feature in the following heavy defeat to Brighton and only coming on as a 65 minute sub in the 1-1 draw with Reading last weekend.

Sucks even more he stayed on the subs bench this weekend in the 1-0 win v QPR in a game broadcast in NZ on Sommet Sport this afternoon.

Pearson always prefers Vardey who's over-rated I think. Chris only got a chance v Bury in the game that secured them promotion because Vardey was injured. Now back to business as usual.

Makes you wonder if Chris will have any sniff of first team football next season in the Premier League. Should he hang around for the subs bench / reserve team in the EPL or try his luck elsewhere in England at a club that would give him more first team opportunities?

Has proven himself at championship level the last few season bar this year. Robbie kruse in 2011-2012 for Dusseldorf didn't have much game time at all then he was their best player the following year. Just needs to bust his guts in the off season and start well the team will be chopped and changed pretty frequently if they aren't winning. If he gets quality minutes I think he can get the job done

He's really been a bench player the whole season - and while he's had some decent performances, the fact that he's struggled to break into the first team doesn't bode well for the next season. Promoted teams usually look to strengthen in the off-season and bring in a Premiership forward, so it wouldn't be the least bit surprising if he ended up on loan back in the Championship.

I fully expect him to be sold to a promotion chasing Championship team. They will try and recoup of of their outlay on players and his record in the Championship will attract buyers.

Really isnt that much of a jump at all between top championship teams and lower level premiership ones. Agree that Chris isnt good enough for the prem yet though

I do wonder how he would go about 5 kgs lighter. I know his strength is a strength of his but would he get a little bit more speed out of that and make him a little nippier?

So you're saying smaller Wood would make scoring more likely? That goes completely against conventional wisdom.

Um.... I guess that's not what I am quite saying really. I am saying he is a beast of a boy and most guys that size are not that mobile. I can't profess to be an expert on him and while I have only seen him in an AW shirt, I can't say I focussed on him. I guess I am just asking, if he was a little bit lighter, would that give him a little bit extra speed he has now to potentially make him a better striker? I'm not saying he is not fast now (and again, I've not really seen him so he could be bloody quick already) but I just go on stereotypes of being a big strong lad and those types of players are not often fleet footed.

I could also be talking just a load of bollocks so....

I was making a penis joke.

But I get your point. Although I've always thought he seems reasonably mobile for such a big lad.

lol, I'm basing my view on that I feel he could be an adequate EPL player without setting the league on fire. Wasn't basing it on the fact he wasn't playing much for LCFC. I just think that he looks as good as some of those hacks running around in or near the relegation zone. Probably an adequate back up in the EPL if he was on average wages.

Chris on as a 56 min. sub this morning in 1-0 away win v. Bolton in the game that officially clinched the title (promotion already assured -but now promoted as champions):

Great he was on the field for the significant win.

Lots of records broken:

"Club captain Wes Morgan will lift the trophy in front of the Blue Army at King Power Stadium on the final day of the season against Doncaster Rovers on Saturday 3 May – City’s seventh second tier title.

That seventh title equals the all-time English league record of second tier league wins held by Manchester City, and means Morgan’s name will be alongside Johnny Duncan, Sep Smith, Matt Gillies, Jack Froggatt, David Nish and Mark Wallington as the men to have lifted the famous trophy in City blue.

The Foxes have been top of the league since a 1-0 victory over Reading at King Power Stadium on Boxing Day – the second game of a Club record nine game winning streak

A Club second-tier record of 21 games without defeat between December and April followed to cement the Foxes’ place at the summit, while Tuesday’s win at the Reebok made it a remarkable 29 league games since the Foxes failed to score."

Wood is usually the first one to put his hand up to play, so can understand him doing this. its his big chance with a good pre-season he can play premier league
