You chaps it is then, was hoping for Bolton but pretty cool to see Nelsen score. How did he play?
Quite well. He made one great tackle in the box, one brilliant interception outside of the box.
Also one telegraphed pass (he'd been watching all his team mates spray it around) and he'd be pissed of he didn't make the block on the cross for Davis' goal.
Will he start for the Semi ahead of Kaboul? Not sure.
Thanks for beating Swansea for us, lads
Nice to get back to winning in the league!! Especially good to make the most of QPR's helping hand The race for 3rd is very much alive!!

Is it though? Is it ?
Jokes aside I can't remember such an exciting sub-plot for quite awhile, especially after City have started crumbling earlier than anticipated and leaving an average United side to win it.
Yup, I'd agree with that...the spectre of Chelski winning the Champions league is as unbearable as it is improbable.

Average Utd side? Although not the best ever team, we stuck 10 past you guys in 2 games this season. Not sure what that makes your lot. Leggy2012-04-04 16:56:42
Overachieving!
Too right.
Next up Norwich at home. 3 pts a must.
Spurs fans: We need a 12th man here. Where are you? Where are you? Let's be 'avin' you! Come on!
quite brilliantI have kept an email from a mate who is a spurs fan. he sent it in Jnauary bleating about how tottenham were 10 points clear of arsenal, and they were more worried about man utd..oh how we laugh

The curse of Delia Smith strikes again.
Edit: I rofld reading that fred. TFC have started an anti jinx one. For my part I've just been playing my spurs songs/chants on my phone to/from work for most of the week. Junior822012-04-14 22:03:00
MIND THE GAP LADS.
C'mon 'Arry. 4 games ,1 point.
Not so 'triffic.
Turn it up for the Chavs and Bolton next week please. A bit of silveware to go with our 4th place trophy would be good.
5 games, 2 points.
Junior822012-03-26 19:26:01
A good start on our comeback trail. A better showing and hopefully will kick on with a decisive win over Bolton. We haven't won at the Bridge for a gazillion years but next match will be in the FA Cup (if all goes well) againts them at Wembley - we did well against them last time in 2008.
More 3 pointers please Arry.
NEEEEELLLLLYYYY!
BBBBAAAAALLLEEEEE!
OH gawd, I came.
So wanna see his goal.Azevo2012-03-28 10:08:15

This is 'Arry's take on Nelsen: http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/id/1041481/gareth-bale-relishing-chelsea-clash-at-wembley?cc=3436
The usual 'Arryisms, just short of 'triffic.

Course he will HH..Arry loves him now.

From a Spurs perspective, you guys also did us a favour, sort of, having Toon put pressure on Chavs and Woolwich is all good.

See what happens Gareth.. see what happens when you try not to be Ronaldo? See what happens Gareth? YOU f**kING SEE WHAT HAPPENS GARETH?! ... YOU SEE! YOU SEE WHAT HAPPENS LARRY?!!

Chelski will be goneski next roundski.
Or another scenario: We surge back into 3rd. Chavs win the UCL but finish 5/6th, while Woolwich finish 4th.
So many permutations. One game at a time, one game at a time.
Having listened to the fever podcast it is natural to draw parallels with The Fighting Cock podcasts (minus any smutty jokes about Ricky's mum).
Here is my match up of the podcaster teams:
Smithy = Flav (both are the hosts, although Flav is a leftie so could be more like News in that respect)
Hard News = Spooky (author of DML... who does Park Life?)
El Grapadura = Chicago Dan
2ndBest = Engineer Al (I don't know if 2B has had a memorable encounter with a 40 yo lecturer)
Major absence is of course the Teh Trunk equivalent and also Thelonius Filth and Ricky
Actually (just quietly) a whole panel of lefties.
Is it though? Is it ?

A fun fact gleaned from TFC podcast: Bob Marley was a fan of Ossie Ardilles and when the Argintinean Artiste joined Spurs in 1978 Bob became a Yiddo too.
Dread irie!

0-0 at half time, game was pretty even, shot and possession wise, though Tottenham did have the better chances.Mycatiscold2012-04-08 00:42:02
And remained that way. Sunderland did well to stifle the game. A point is some consolation but means that it opens the door for the East and South London teams.
Still, was always going to be a tough day at the office at the stadium of sh!te (with Twattermole and Bender).
