The difference being Muso, when Roman bought Chelsea we were consistently placing between 3rd and 6th in the league and we were winning UK cup competitions, your guys are barely out of the relegation zone in the Championship and haven't won a bean in a long long time

They're not *that* desperate surely.
Not sure where you heard this from but with RvP back from injury, Adebayor and Eduardo scoring for fun and Bendtner coming along nicely, I'm calling fake.
Latest media reports suggest he's wanted by Villa and Pompey.

Painter and decorator Augur, 47, a regular contributor to Chelsea fanzines, was walking back from the match with his two sons and passed a Fulham pub where the police's Territorial Support Group were dealing with a clash between rival fans.
In the confusion, an Alsatian from the police dog unit bit Augur's 16-year-old son James, locking his jaws around the boy's leg.
In order to help James escape, Augur kicked the dog. This led to a beating that has required an operation to reinflate his lung and a four-day stay in hospital, as well as a charge for causing criminal damage to a dog.
Augur said: 'I've never felt pain like it. I thought I was going to die. And any father would have done the same if they were faced with an Alsatian hanging on to their son's leg. I'm proud of the way Chelsea fans are supporting me.'
James, appealing for witnesses, writes on a Chelsea website: 'Three policeman leapt on me and four jumped on my dad. I was on the floor and I felt a police baton, fists and boots kicking me and I could hear cries of pain from my father. He was handcuffed and punched and one of the police officers stood on him.'
The Department of Professional Standards, who deal with complaints against the police, have started an investigation.
"Never look an Alsatian in the eyes"
<anecdote time> I was at Leyton Orient years ago with my friend Shay. Bit of a quiet man. Things got silly and the police started telling us to leave or they'd let the dogs go. They let the dogs on to a longish lead so that they ran at us. I was off.
He seems to be biting all the time!!
BBC Sport understands that only formalities remain and the 28-year-old will sign in time to figure in Saturday's game against Spurs.

We are scrambling through a bit at the moment, but we keep on banking the three points and we are only four points behind. Hopefully the injury situation will improve soon.
