Yeah, they do - it's in the latest Sky Watch magazine. Sky have Arsenal TV, Man Utd TV and Man City TV but no longer have Spurs TV.
My Mum asked about Spurs TV and Sky replied that they were negotiating with a few clubs so couldn't announce a 4th team yet.
Where did you see that Sommet will have the Community Shield and do you know if it's live? Can't find it on their schedule.

It's almost certain to be on Sommet live. Was last year. Check closer to the event because they often don't list broadcasts till closer to the event.
To be certain I suggest asking them on their Facebook - they usually reply to queries:
https://www.facebook.com/SommetSports
Sommet list on their website the football they have rights to and for how many seasons:
http://sommetsports.co.nz/soccer/
They haven't been broadcasting the Scottish or Argentinian football but the rest is correct. The list is an original one from when Sommet started broadcasting last year and is just what is available to them from their provider Setanta Sports.
It's basically what Setanta Sports (Irish-based international broadcaster) make available on Setanta Australia (you can subscribe to Setanta in Australia) - so you can get some idea on what is available to Sommet by checking the Setanta Australia website too:
Thanks, I have asked on Facebook. It's not currently on their schedule.

Well Sommet have still not responded regarding the Community Shield, and a few others have also asked and not got a response yet either. It's not on the schedule so it's not looking good. Have also not got a response from ESPN or Sky but it's not on their schedules either. Dodgy live stream it is then I guess. Would be a shame as I believe it's usually shown in NZ isn't it? Haven't actually bothered to watch it for years but my team are finally in it again.
Just got the following response from Sky Sport:
"We are still yet to confirm on the FA Community Shield yet - will update on the progress on this on this page when we know!"
That sounds like Sky may be trying to get it and certainly not a "someone else has the rights to this."
It's on the espn schedule on the sky guide iPhone app as the fa cup at 2am next monday. it was on both Sommet and ESPN last year
Cool, thanks. I couldn't find it on ESPN's schedule so maybe been updated since I looked.
looks like it will be on sommet too https://www.facebook.com/SommetSports/posts/326896417466565
The vote is over-whelming for the football. How can Sommet and ESPN both have the rights to show it live though?
"Class of '92" - BBC Knowledge (ch. 74 Sky) tonight 7.30 pm
Two hour documentary special on Man Utd's "golden generation"
Giggsy, Scholesy, Buttsy, Becks and the Nevilles:
"The documentary covers the period from Manchester United's FA Youth Cup win in 1992 to their Champions League triumph in 1999, which rounded off the Treble-winning 1998–99 season. The film cuts the narrative with the social and cultural changes taking place in Great Britain at the time.
The film secured full access with all six players and also includes interviews with former footballers Zinedine Zidane and Eric Cantona, former Manchester United youth coach Eric Harrison, film maker Danny Boyle, former Prime Minister Tony Blair and The Stone Roses bassist Mani."

the rights will just not be exclusive. last year they both had it and espn had their own commentators on and from memory sommet had the international feed and it had martin tyler iirc. was much better.

I agree - fantastic mixture of new interviews and archive match and personal footage. Great to see the 1992 FA Youth Cup winning side re-united including the members who didn't go on to become famous.
I didn't know Robbie Savage was a member of that youth side in 1992.
Great soundtrack by the Stone Roses etc.
Giggs, Scholes, Becks, Butt and the Neville brothers came across as down-to-earth normal blokes.
Great stories of initiation rituals for young apprentices carried out by senior players at the club with elements of Monty Python about them:
"One day they stuck Scholesy in a dryer and closed the door. It were one of them commercial dryers."
"They put Scholesy and Becks inside kit bags, they were that small, padlocked them and threw the bags on the bus. Someone found them later when the bags arrived on the bus."
Loved the anecdotes about Sir Alex's discipline such as finding out Lee Sharpe had a party at his newly acquired digs the night before a match, storming around there and catching the teenagers new to the first team Sharpe, Giggs and Beckham drinks in hand - Sharpe attempting to hide in his bedroom but Sir Alex racing up there and collaring him - but missing all the even younger apprentices jumping out windows and hiding under beds.
Love the fact Sir Alex would personally storm around to a player's flat to catch new young first-teamers out and scare the bejeesuz out of them.
And the respect earned by Sir Alex that the players to this day don't begrudge that discipline.
And Scholes was so accurate with the ball at training the operative phrase was "watch your back" because if players sloped off to have a pee behind some bushes at the training ground, Scholes would invariably hit them on the back of the head from a distance - and new players literally wouldn't know what had hit them and were left searching for the source...

On Monday September 1 ESPN will move to SKY channel 060 and ESPN2 will screen on SKY channel 061.
ESPN2 will be available on SKY GO from 11 August.
Really enjoyed the Tractor Boys beating Fulham 2 - 1 today. Thanks Sommet.
Chelsea TV now on sky sport, replacing Tottenham TV
Just seen that. That was on Sommet last season wasn't it? Wonder if they will pick up Spurs TV or another to replace it.
I have to say that for me, Spurs TV, MANUTV etc. - they are all utter bollocks. They just bore me shitless.
The magazine portions are just too anorakish for me.
The match coverage - I can't put up with the biased unobjective commentary.
The net effect is I just can't stomach it and watch less football because of it.
LIVE EPL ON FREE-TO-AIR TV FOR FIRST TIME IN NZ:
TV One are showing a live EPL game every round this season.

The Premier League 2014-15 on TVNZPublished: 3:50PM Monday August 12, 2013 Source: ONE News
TVNZ will bring football fans coverage of the English Premier League this season.
TV ONE will broadcast a live game, early on Sunday morning, and highlights of all the weekend's matches late on Tuesday night.
OnDemand will have the game and highlights available to watch until Friday night each week.
On onenews.co.nz/football we'll bring you short highlights of every game as well asmatch reports and reaction.
PREMIER LEAGUE HIGHLIGHTS SHOW ON TV ONE:
TV One have changed the Premier League Highlights Show to the ridiculous time of 11.50 pm on Wednesdays at short notice after promoting it for the last week as being on Tuesday nights.
Maybe Coliseum Sports (Premier League Pass) ,the rights holders, put pressure on them to do this to encourage more fans to pay for their service.
So that really sucks after having the Highlights Show on at 11 pm Monday nights last year.

Sommet Sports are looking at getting another Premier League club channel to replace Chelsea TV which has gone to Sky.
Seems Sky outbid them and Chelsea were only interested in maximising their profit.
