seems the lads have found a new way to win. great flow for all the goals, tomi being onvolved in starting 3 of them from left back - loved it! Play like that and we can beat anyone!
I'll take that, first half was just a continuation of the the Lens game, two brilliant goals, second half we pulled back and Wolves deserved their goal. Big week coming up with Luton next on Wednesday and Villa on Sunday. Good to maintain the gap on City.
Despite dominating possession and all the attacks we have conceeded two soft goals from corners. Raya really flapping for the second one. making Luton look way better than they are.
if ever there was a game to swap keepers mid-game as Arteta has claimed he wants to do this would be it! Raya has made two errors which have lead to goals.
Rice!!!!! I feel bad for celebrating like we've won the league but we needed that win to stay top through till the weekend. Luton deserved a point but we have a reputation for scoring late.
What a return on investment we are getting for Rice. And credit to the squad for not panicking. You do feel for Luxon but man did we make it hard on ourselves. 6 points up on City whose game in hand is vs a pretty handy Villa is a good place to be.
That said we will need to up our game ahead of this weekend because if we show up like that Villa will punish us.
It’s good to see Havertz hitting some consistently good form lately too. It took a while but he’s looking promising.
I was gutted to miss this. For all of the control we've had this year, nice to have a wee reminder of last years madness. That had shades of Bournemouth at home last year, you love to see it!
Havertz for me has been fairly handy all season. He's one of these players that does a ton of little things well that you don't notice. Works very hard, has a great all-round game in his locker. Perfect replacement for what Xhaka gave us, and now that goals are coming, he's showing us he has a higher ceiling in this role than Xhaka.
Your only 2 points clear at the top and with teams well within striking distance to you. Also as history shows City are more than capable of overhauling 6 points or more in the run in.

Agree but he's never going to score a 30 yard screamer. Not even a 6 yard screamer yet

A) who cares, as long as they go in, they all count the same. B) can you share a clip(s) of a 6yard screamer? I don’t think I’ve ever seen one.
Like I get that the ebening thing is a joke and everything, but I just dont like it ay. Like learning a language is hard. I wish we didn't rip on people speaking their 2nd or 3rd langauge, its just punching down.

My favourite 6 yard screamer was Giroud vs Bayern (I think?), the ball popped up high and came down, he perfectly volleyed it with power into the open net. Beautiful hair, looking like an adonis, classic Giroud stuff
Raya keeps his spot in the starting lineup, and we go down 1-0 in the first 1-0, White out of position and arriving late to the tackle to "support" Saliba. Had he held his ground and blocked McGinn they dont score. We've had some chances but Martinez has been up to them all. Feels like the ref is ignoring some of the physical play against us.
Villa - giant kllers. Jesus really struggled today, no idea why we are subbing Zinchenko for Reiss-Nelson in the 93rd minute! Second spot, sigh! to Liverpool of all teams!
it hit Havetz's elbow first, then Cash's hand then Havertz's hand again. No intent from anyone, could have been played on or called for anyone of the 3 touches to hand.
Disappointing result but even worse was how we played in the first half. A lot of passes going absolutely nowhere. Would have taken a draw if you’d asked me.
Staying with my parents this weekend so I happened to be watching the game with my Dad, the most one eyed of all Spurs fans. He was on the phone to my brother at the time of the disallowed goal so not fully concentrating. When he came off the phone he said "why was that goal disallowed? It was a handball by the Aston Villa player. That's fudgeing ridiculous." That's the first time in my life I've ever heard him say something in Arsenal's favour. This is someone who's response to Bergkamp vs Newcastle was "he pushed him!"
