I think we’re getting our wires crossed here. I have no problem the guy, my issue is that the head coach of a club is also the director of football at the same place that runs the comp, as confirmed above.
I took pains to point out in my post that I was not questioning Lee Padmore's integrity, rather the criticism was directed at the position he has been placed in by Mainland Football where he concurrently occupies the role as their DoF and as Selwyn United's head coach. As for Mainland having nothing to do with the Southern League, have a look at Clause 11.2 of the National League regulations - it delegates control of the Southern League to the controlling Federation. The conflict of interest is real and Mainland Football has a duty of care to its employee not to place him in such a situation.
Lee Padmore (Head Coach of Selwyn): "Hey Mainland Football, we gotta few players out with Covid and injuries, any chance we can get this game postponed?"
Lee Padmore (Director of Football at Mainland Football): "No worries mate, consider it done."
So this aged well Vim...... :D
Huh? This makes the gag even better!
How can a head coach of a Premier League club be involved in anything to do with the Premier League?
Next time I'll draw stick figures or a meme to explain it a little better.
Southern League is part of National League run by NZF. Not Premier League run by MF. Can’t draw nor find meme for that, so typed slowly. Not sure if that helps.
I would still like to see this Meme drawing tho....
I found it tough to get match updates yesterday, anyone else? If not, where do you get your info? Tribe had the Chch Utd game so could see that one...
Always seems to be, some teams are quite slow to put updates and often not updated on Tribe. It's even worse at the Football South Premiership level...

Probably because every Tom, Dick and Harry thinks they deserve to be paid to play this level so no one has gone to Nomadslthomas20
